The doctor and injection staff at Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Associates (the Scottsdale location…read moreoff Shea) have been great, and the treatment process itself has been convenient and well organized. Unfortunately, the billing department has been a completely different experience. "Incompetent" is the best word I can use to describe what I have experienced. I paid in full, upfront, for my entire allergy shot treatment plan as an out-of-pocket patient. I even received a discount for paying in full. Although at this point, I'm not sure it was worth the hassle. I have a receipt confirming payment in full, and the office has verified multiple times that my balance was satisfied. Despite this, I have continued receiving invoices for charges I do not owe - NINE so far and counting. I was also told several times that someone would call me back to confirm the issue was resolved, but no one ever has. They have had over a month since the first call and weeks since the second and third. At this point, I wish I could bill them for the amount of time I've spent dealing with their mistakes. I have contacted the billing department THREE separate times and was assured every time that the incorrect charges would be removed. Nothing was corrected, and I received yet another bill today. When I attempted to call for a fourth time, their automated system disconnected me. It is incredibly frustrating to repeatedly deal with billing errors after paying a substantial amount of money upfront and being told multiple times that the issue had been resolved. Great medical care is important, but competent billing and basic follow-through matter too. This ultimately comes down to honesty, integrity, accountability, and competence. Five stars for the doctor and the injection schedule. One star for billing. Management seriously needs to address this department.

I have very severe asthma. I went there on the recommendation of my pulmonologist at Arizona…read morePulmonary Specialists. I originally started out going to an asthma doctor in Illinois who was an allergy and immunology specialist for one of premier medical schools in Chicago. When I moved to Phoenix in 1996, I used an allergist my doctor in Illinois recommended. After 4 years, my allergist moved to Las Vegas. He suggested Arizona Pulmonary. I've been with them since 1999. I have been taking Fasenra since 7/2020, and my asthma dramatically improved. I even lost 180 lbs from not having to be on prednisone except if I got sick. Everything was great, I looked and felt terrific, until the Fasenra stopped working about 18 months ago. It wasn't sudden, but noticeable. My breathing got worse. I was wheezing and coughing more, which I blamed on a month-long stay in the hospital in 1/2023 due to double pneumonia. Nope. It continued to go downhill then finally dropped off a cliff. I was put back on high dose steroids, which triggered me eating everything in sight and at night, causing me to gain 55 lbs. I was taken off the Fasenra completely in February of 2025. I was put on a trial of Dupixant in late March, which worked great for my breathing almost immediately, but gave me every side effect in the book, also almost immediately, too. It was so damn frustrating. My doctor there, Dr. Mason, felt Dr. Manning might be helpful because he didn't want me to fail the last medication available, Tespire. Perhaps there was a systemic allergic response he could avert? I went there not expecting a lot. Wow-was I wrong!! The people in the office were friendly and welcoming. The doctor, Dr Manning, was amazing. I could even imagine myself going to him for my asthma if anything happened to Dr. Mason to make him leave the valley (as my last doctor there had done a few years ago. In all, I'm very pleased with the care I received from Dr Manning. I'm hoping he can get to the bottom of the allergic reaction I had to the medication and, perhaps, the downward turn my asthma has taken in the last 18 months.

Before my last visit to the office to get my prescribed medication and records to begin my search for a new physician (been there for a year now) I wrote a review in regards to my multiple poor experiences with his staff on google lol. Bad idea. When I came in I instantly knew they had seen my review just from the way I was handled requesting a copy of my records. They processed me immediately to see the PA, which is a first (usually takes 20 to 30 oh and btw u only have a 10min window to be there even if you call in you'll have to reschedule ), probably bc they wanted me out and she truly was the worst. She was extremely petty & aggressive as she processed her basic routine check up and interrogation of what happened. I did not respond to her rude and indirect references to the situation but overall It was a very uncomfortable experience bc the service she provided was . Would hate to have to see her for medical help if I was on her bad side. Think I made the right choice to find a new primary care facility . The only reason this office in my opinion would be three stars is because its centrally located and Dr. Dicke is a great guy and was professional servicing me even though he knew. My recommendation to Dr. Dicke from a patients perspective is that I want more engagement from a physician. I don't want the basic here ya go this is what you came for type of physician. I want a physician who will be there with me for the long haul, know me, my future family, and give me advice on how to live healthier and avoid serious issues down the road. Unfortunately, never saw that level of engagement from Dr. Dicke even though I told him thats what I was looking for the first day I visited his office. I'd also recommend to check your staff and PA. Usually, fairly rude in my opinion. Cheers,

When I met my new husband in 1999, he too began going to Dr. Wadowski. He is one of those "guys" who NEVER goes to doctors but he really likes her. I sincerely believe she saved his life because if he didn't like her and trust her, he would not have gone to her in 2006 when he was having chest pains and numbness in his left arm. He was days(?) away from a massive heart attack if untreated but because he felt he had a doctor he could go to, he did go to her [unknown to me because he never even told me about his symptoms; like I said, one of "THOSE" guys] , and got treatment and is alive and thriving because he continues to follow her advice to this day.

I chose this office because of the positive reviews, hoping my daughter--who has already been…read morethrough so much medically--would receive the kindness and compassion she deserves. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist was rude. While my daughter was being rushed back, she heard what she believed was the doctor yelling at her to hurry because she wasn't the only patient. My daughter was there early for her appointment, yet she was made to feel like an inconvenience. No patient, especially someone already dealing with significant medical challenges, should be treated this way. Compassion and respect matter, and the way patients are treated can stay with them long after they walk out the door.

In other words, to him i wasn't going to be "milked" for payments, I was going to be treated like an individual with unique individual needs. AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I AND MY HUSBAND EXPERIENCED!!! It didn't feel like a real medical practice. And it felt like the medical staff had to "deal" with my after the initial sales pitch. There was a 2 page print out for post & pre-op care. It was very shoddy. And I had to pick up and take my own drugs to knock myself out prior to the procedure. That was the wackiest part. If I asked questions or raised suspicions about any steps, of course I was made to feel like I was stupid or not getting something that was very simple. It all makes sense now why they were acting like this. I was scammed. The procedure was fully covered by my insurance, however I still feel sick by the fact that I was taken advantage of by Dr. Stewart. I'm looking at the literature that was printed out for me, it's a one sheeter about De Quervains tendinitis. So ten dollars for an info sheet, I'm thinking okay, maybe this was a medical publication from Dr Mohty and that's why he's charging so much for it...? Nope. I went to google the exact words on the one sheeter, and it pulled up cedars Sinai medical centers info on De Quervain. Word for word it was copied from this website. So when I called to inquire about the charge the front desk girl recited something along the lines of "well add Mohty has these brochures and he has the info in his own words" and then something like "obviously this is information that he provided you is something you needed so that's why he's charging you" and "he has treated thousands of patients and this has never been a problem" My problem is that 1. He is plagiarizing info 2. He's charging in EXCESS for a sheet of info that is online for free.
