Auto shut off didn't work on pump. Gasoline all over the place, all over my wife (I had gone to the restroom). Finally get it shut off and I go inside to seek help. The lady tells me that "Maria the manager is at the pump and handling it". I go to speak to Maria - RUDE!!! I tell her my wife is covered in gasoline, and she tells me the pump has been working all morning. No help for my wife, no compensation for the excess gasoline, just major attitude. I couldn't believe how rude. My wife had to change clothes, change her shoes, and the whole car reeks of gasoline and were on a long trip. I couldn't get a receipt because the "Manager" Maria was in the way of the pump sweeping around sand or some kind of absorbent. She couldn't care less about us. No concern whatsoever for what my wife was dealing with. I have been a Shell gasoline customer for many many years and will be letting corporate know of the experience. read more

Stopped here to fuel up on the way home from Las Vegas. Gas is cheaper at this location vs the Shell on Barstow Road but overall, Shell is more expensive. I don't mind paying a little bit more when I'm putting gas in my car so always look for a Shell or Chevron. Plus this location is super convenient because it's right off the freeway. I fuel up and then head to In n Out for food and/or a potty break or reverse. read more

The Yelp Review Challenge 2021, Review #15 This was one of our stops on road trip from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and OC, Orange County, California. This has one of the cleaner bathrooms, when we stopped in. No line. There are other gas stations and restaurants to go to in the area but we didn't need any food and we always prefer to use Shell gas so we stopped here. Service was great, options for snacks and such were available but I didn't check it out. Hopefully, as I share this information on here, it will continue to be a clean restroom stop. Starbucks fuels me for the drive to Vegas. But my car cannot run on lattes nor iced brews. So every once in a while I stop by this Shell station to fuel up my car. This station has a convenience store and restrooms for that much needed potty break. They have plenty of caffeine options, if you don't fancy a SB latte. The place is run efficiently, and I've never had problems here. There is not much else I can say about this place, other than it's a gas station in the desert that does its job. read more

Stopped by around 11pm on a Tuesday evening after finding most of the fast food places had already closed except for Del Taco and In and Out, which had a good sizes line at the Drive-Thru. This is your typical, although a bit newer, travel stop/gas station/restroom/quick snacks place. They do a pretty good job of keeping it clean, I just wish (and I'm sure the store owners wish as well) there way a way to prevent carved in graffiti in the restrooms. Decent selection of snacks, drinks, and even pre-made sandwiches. Be prepared to pay for convince store in the middle of nowhere prices. The employees I've interacted with have always been super friendly. A nice and unusual trait for a store like this. read more

There's cheaper gas in Barstow but this location was the most convenient when I got off the freeway, plus it's a stones throw from a starbucks drive through. There was always an open pump (both times I drove in) and it's not really hard to drive in or out, like some of the other gas stations on Lenwood Road. I'm sure I'll be back! read more

Hate this gas station. There I was, minding my own business, filling up gas. Paid with card at the pump. After I had filled the tank, the screen said that I had to go inside for my receipt. Weird. So I go inside to get my receipt, and have to bring my 6 lb toy spaniel with me in my PURSE. It is 100 degrees in the desert, I was not going to leave her in the car! I wait and get to the front of the line, and am offered a rude welcome by the extremely mean woman at the counter. "Ma'am you can't have your dog in here." And as I'm about to say something, she makes that "shoo" hand motion. !!!!! Wtf! I had just given this business money, and wanted my receipt. Before she repeats herself, I just yell "I need my receipt from pump 8, I already PAID you" :/ She says "Oh" and gives me my receipt without saying anything else. Rawr. read more

Stay Away from this Shell Station. I have stopped there twice on trips to and from California and I have gotten zapped by a card reader both times and then had my account cleaned out. Each time when I scanned my card and entered the info it would cancel out and tell me to "Contact the Attendant". I called after the first time, to advise them and they said they were aware of issues and had taken steps to make sure it didnt happen again. Well it happened again on 03/01/19. They cant watch everything I get that, but I cant have my card # stolen everytime Im there. Find another Shell Station or use cash. read more

Great place to get a quick snack. It can get crowded but the place looks clean. Will def be back if I am in the area.

If anyone is qualified to write a review about this place, it's me. I constantly drive back and fourth between CA and Vegas. This is the perfect half way spot. I've literally stopped here at least 50 times. Staff has never been rude to me. Nor have I ever seen bums hanging around near by as another review claims. Bathrooms are decent. Don't come here to get coffee... i Was just here and bought a simple coffee and the cheap cup is made of styrofoam cup with cheap cap and spilled all over my white shirt when I drink. The cap does not close! I went in and got a refund. The store is call MegaMart attached to the Shell Gas... Fockkkkkkkkk... I went to the restroom and had to wash my cloth... Don't go here. Cashier closed station early. I was already inside but left my wallet in my car and he wouldn't even let me come back in to buy the souvenirs, beef jerky, and energy drink I wanted. Owners might want to give this guy a warning, turning business away before close is bad for business! read more

This places prices are ridiculous. They charge a minimum of a dollar more per gallon of gas than every place else. If you need gas just passed them up. There will be another gas station close by. We need to send clear messages to places that gouge you. Avoid! read more

I thought this place was great. They had a big snack selection in the store, gas station, nice attendant, and extremely pleasant bathroom. The woman's had three stalls and the entire bathroom was spotless. I recommend stopping here. read more
