Upon walking in for my consult, 3 post-op patients were in the waiting room raving about the surgeries and their results. I took this as my "sign" and decided to proceed. The surgery was a breeze, I walked out in very little pain. I think I took 2 pain pills immediately after, as I wasn't sure what to expect when the numbing agent wore off. However, I don't think I even needed those. Recovery was a uneventful and speedy. I was mowing the yard after 2 weeks post-op! This man gave me my life back and I am very grateful. I highly recommend his approach and wouldn't hesitate to go back, if needed!

The first response to pain help request was "I wasn't in enough pain because my voice didn't show enough pain over the phone." My caregiver and I were shocked at the response. At 6 weeks, I visited my regular doctor who gave me a list of questions to ask at the upcoming appointment. Dr. Scott dodged all questions, saying "everyone is different". Being different should not mean refusing to address the problem. Since then, my regular doctor team has managed the pain and more recently with an ultrasound and MRI has found swelling and post surgical changes. The ultrasound showed a large blood clot causing the swelling. These tests are pretty basic to rule out serious things like blood clots that can cause strokes. I am so grateful that my regular team of doctors are more interested in solving health problems than ignoring them. The stroke will take 2-3 months to dissolve and I don't know about post surgical changes treatment yet. I do know there is at least one other former patient with the same bad treatment facing a repair surgery. I wonder why Dr. Scott isn't working at Providence anymore or doing them in Spokane.

Everyone at MWOS was great from the moment we checked in. The receptionist was very friendly and discreet when it was needed. My nurse, Cathy, was awesome She took great care of me, again explaining everything she was doing and why. I needed some special assistance at one point before going in for surgery and she handled it professionally and, again, with discretion. She also took care to include my husband in all conversations as did everyone who talked to me before surgery. The nurse who took care of me in recovery was great! I think her name is Wendy. Made sure I was comfortable and coming out of it well. The nurse who wheeled me out to the car whose name I didn't catch was also very friendly and made sure I was moving correctly when getting into our Jeep. Everyone here was awesome! I highly recommend NWOS and Dr. Moss. I have not had one bad experience there with anyone and am looking forward to having my right hip done there as soon as I can.

None of them were capable of helping me in fact none of them ever took an xray. Eventually my regular doctor/PA made me an appt with Dr. Arnold. 1st thing on the 1st visit I got an xray which showed I had a prominent bone spur on the afflicted food which helps to irritate the PF issue. I received a shot on the second visit, another appt was scheduled 2 weeks later but when I was interviewed by Dr. Arnold she determined since the pain was gone at that point no shot was advised. I havent been back, I have been pain free with only a minor, very minor flare up after doing things like pushing heavy wheel barrows which before ruined me for days. I can bike ride again too which is very important for me. Thank you Dr. Arnold. Office staff is very helpful and nice also.

I've had many return visits to Dr. Thompson and still no improvement. On my final and now last visit he said there was nothing more he could do for me. Gee, thanks Dr. Thompson, you put me through surgery and made MY INJURIES WORSE than they were before. I have lots of pain and swelling in my foot and have to use a walker now to get around. I'm told by a different orthopedic surgeon that I will need to get a specialized leg brace which I may have to wear for a year in order to get back to where I was before the surgery by Dr. Thompson.

It was the day before I was to get my pins removed. Nevertheless; it created a serious problem. I had to have several more surgeries that became serious.
