He also checked out our system, which had run dry much earlier than expected (preventing running dry is why we added the Intelli-Tank). Then he explained what had caused the problem. RIP OFF we called them to our home end of Dec. as we woke up on a Friday and had no water, we…read morecalled our normal Well person they could not come as issues with their person at the moment so Bandon Well and Pump was available, in the mean time we turned our well on and off at the dedicated meter for it and about a hour later a small trickle of water, Once they came out only one person came to look at it the other guy sat in the big truck. He told us the digital display was flashing and we said Yeah we turned it on and off, and insisted that all the power in our home was out and we kept telling him. no, all he did was re set the display did not look at anything did not do anything to make sure that was the problem LIKE why we had no water in the morning . We got the the other guy and he said we should have it serviced and get it set up for being drained and sediment taking out but would not quote us a price just said Expensive and we HAVE To be paid the day we do it, as if we were stupid. so we said you are here why not do it now since we are paying $12O for you to show up They said we did not bring anything to do the service with us, OK so you go on a call not knowing what is really happening and you bring no supplies with you at all. We called a day later to find out since it was so long without a service it would be $3OO and after that $2OO. But in the meantime we reached out to another Well person who I sent photos of our system to talked to him about it , they came today and said it was the circuit board that was fried and that needed to be replaced , So I said when you replace the circuit board can you do the service on it since you will be here. He said the system we have does not need to be serviced like the older manual one we had before . SO What was Bandon Well and pump going to do . since they did not even inspect our circuit board or look at our system to know it is one that does not have to be drained, SO run do not walk away from this company

The exact spot he witched got me a 30 gpm well in an area of 2-3 gpm! His advice about drilling deeper was spot on and I am so glad I trusted his professional opinion. First, all my new well water was run through an iron filter & water softener/filter, without asking…read moreme, this included ALL outside hose bibs for lawn & garden watering. Several months later, I ran an unfiltered line to my chicken coop & found yellow/brown water in the line. I called the plumber to pull water for the hose bibs before going through the filter/softener. This is when I found yellow/brown water running out my hose bibs. I then called Southern Oregon Water Wells to come out & fix their problem of sucking unacceptable water from the well. They sent out a man who fixed the problem by removing 20 feet of line, thereby raising the well pump 20 feet & solving the problem of dirty water. THEN Southern Oregon Water Wells tried to invoice me for fixing their error of setting the well pump too low. The owner screamed and swore at me over the phone, that if I did not pay the bill, he would never work on my well again. That was just fine with me. There are other well diggers that are far better & ethical. I want to post a couple photos but I don't see how.

They had all of the proper equipment to complete out job (the other well company did not and couldn't even finish the job they started!). Very good communication, they even set up all of the pressure tank and holding tanks and everything else! When issues some up with our booster pump that filled the pressure tank, they were EXTREMELY great at coming out to fix the problems. It means a lot to me as a customer that they came through on their word in every regard because I know that if something comes up in the future I can count on them.

I would not use their services again nor would I recommend their services to anyone in the future. I would also suggest to others considering their services to also read other reviews available such as Angie's List for a more objective evaluation of this business and practices. I would also pay close attention to when the reviews were posted with the presumption that the most recent reviews are more relevant than the older ones.
