This company has the best Customer service I have ever experienced in this line of bussiness. Prices are great and about the quality...I will comment in the future. So far, very satisfied. I highly recommend them...!!!!! read more

We had used Barreca a few times over the last several years when our asphalt driveway was in pretty rough shape, so perhaps our standards were lower, but we couldn't have been more disappointed when we had them come seal our newly poured driveway. They were pretty careless, getting splatters all over our lightly colored vinyl siding that does not come off with scrubbing or power washing. They did their initial application but we had to have them come out second time to redo, as it seemed like the consistency of the product they're using is not good or mixed thoroughly. We had patches of discoloration (see photos) and after the second application, the product was again inconsistent and even after WEEKS of drying/fully curing, we have patches where a vehicle was parked overnight and where another turned its tires that the product came completely off, revealing bare unsealed spots of asphalt. I would not recommend and will not be using again. read more

We have used this company for seal coating several times over the years. Previously they would contact us the day before and we would have a check for them. With weather the time varied by weeks. Earlier this Spring I arranged to have them seal coat, gave them my credit card number, and they said they would be out around June 4, depending on weather. They didn't contact us they way they had in the past. I left the house at 7:30. My husband was inside at 8:30. A crewman rang the doorbell and people were already sealing the driveway, with our other car in the garage. Our car was stuck. I called to complain and also find out how soon we could use the driveway. The man I spoke with was very cavalier. I am going back to using Damico. read more

Barreca did our neighbors driveway and did such a good job we called them. They came out within a week and did an amazing job. Driveway looks like brand new. Will definitely use them again. read more

Easy to schedule and always do a great job. Been using them for many years, never have had any issues.

Barreca ROCKED it again! Great job. Good quality material. Crew #9 is awesome! We've been using Barreca for about 15 years now. See you guys next year! read more

Their whole process and attention to detail using good products is what makes a driveway seal job look good and last.

very thin sealer, cracks not filled very poor product. someone suppose to come out and look at it but so far no one has showed up. read more

They have a D- rating from the Better Business Bureau. They are terrible in execution and worse in customer service. DONOT use this company. The day after they finished it rained. Water pooled up in my driveway. I politely called and share the problem. The guy on the phone first said there could not be a pool of water on my driveway. I offered to show pictures.(he declined). he then started gettting angry and said that we must have always had water on our driveway (we've lived here 17 years and have never had water pool on the driveway). Then he said it should go away in 3 months? I said that that it would make sense for him to look at the photos. He got more angry, said he doesn't need to look at photos. I told him it makes sense for me to pay him in 3 months if that's how long it takes to see if they didn't damage my driveway. He got more angry, threatened me with collections and hung up on me. Don't use this company! read more

They seal cracks and spread an excellent coating. Very professional. Not the cheapest but better than most at preserving your asphalt driveway and I have 140 feet of driveway. read more

Late season seal coating. Easy to schedule, great work, reasonable cost. Unconditional recommendation.

The job was done when it was scheduled and it was done effectively. I haven't done any comparative shopping so I don't know if their price is high or low. I've used their services a number of times with no reservations. Will use them again. read more

Absolutely the WORST seal coating company ever! They came on a day it was going to rain but did it anyway. It was a brown watered down liquid and only one coat was done. Within an hour of them leaving it began to pour and the liquid ran off onto the sidewalks and street. It turned into some kind of gunk and our driveway is a mess! They were supposed to send out a cleaning crew but that never happened. Yesterday a truck shows up at 4:15 with a crew to redo the seal coating. No one called to let us know and to ask if the cleaning crew had been there. The truck had no company name on it so you have no idea who these people work for. SO unprofessional!!! We told them not to bother coming back. read more

Quick service, easy online scheduling, showed up on time and did the job as stated. A+

Have used them multiple times for annual blacktop sealcoating and pleased with results.

Excellent sealcoating! I was so pleased! I got 2 discounts after booking online and before September. I have a double drive plus a trailer pad and the charge was so reasonable. This also included filling many cracks. I highly recommend their service! read more

Have used them for years. Always good service and friendly crews. Service scheduled today 6/26/24, but rain forecast in the morning then clearing later. They came early about 8:00 AM. Sky was gray and cloudy but they did the job. 2 hours later, it rained. Not happy to see that when I returned home. It also didn't look like they filled the cracks I have in my asphalt. They could have pushed the service to afternoon or tomorrow with no rain forecast. One year they did do that, sent email because of rain. I'm sure they check the forecast just like we do. Took photos with timestamp for proof. They should come back and recoat my driveway at no cost. Not happy this time around. Will rethink future service. read more

We used Barreca Blacktop several times in the past 10 years. The last time was ~3 years or more ago. Always got good service. Payment was easy. Today, I received 4 emails within 5 minutes, stating that my account is overdue, will be sent to collections in 2 days. I call the phone number 847-970-5900 -- the voicemail inbox is full and not accepting new messages. Same issue as Kaitlyn N. and Daniel M. on 2/26/2021. @Barreca, please solve your problem and let your loyal customers know that you fixed it....and are not about to screw with our credit. Thank you. read more

I made the mistake of using them once. Now they won't leave me alone. Constant emails with NO WAY to unsubscribe. I don't need used motor oil spread on my driveway. read more

I have been receiving estimates for sealing my driveway from Barreca for years - apparently a previous owner had used them. I finally broke down and had the drive sealed this fall, and I am happy with the job they did. The payment/scheduling process online was simple. They showed up on time and did a great job - laid it on thick, extra thick where it was needed, and didn't make a mess. Then the payment was charged to my card, after the job was done and the agreed amount. Can't ask for much more than that - I will use again. read more

Received the same notice that we'd be turned over to a collections agency on Feb 26 that Daniel M. mentions. Payment is made prior to the job being done so there is no way we have not paid. Both telephone numbers for the company result in "Mailbox full" and there is no other means to contact them. Not sure if this is a scam or them not having their act together. The job they did on our driveway was fantastic at the time, but it was about 3 years ago. read more

I see this company have big problem with billing. Use them before , no problem. Then I receive mail from collection agency . I gave them my credit card they just not charge it ! No phone calls .... nothing ! This year I use different company and must say they do better job. So if you use Barreca be very careful about your bill . What I see from reviews this is a real problem. read more

I just received a notice of delinquent payment from Barreca and I'm being turned over to a collection agency. This is complete BS. a) The last time they sealed my driveway was at least 3 years ago. b) When contracting services, payment is provided prior to job online c) You'd think if I truly did miss a payment, i would have received some sort of notification in the last three years before being turned over to a collection agency. d) I called and received automated message stating "mailbox full" e) There is no physical address on website or google. d) You can't even get into their website without a customer number (which I don't have) I will never use this company again. Neither should you. read more

Although I received a routine emailed estimate from Barreca ( have used them in the past) for resealing my blacktop drive, this fall I went with a different company. I'm floored that today I got an email that my "account will be sent to collections"????? For what? I didn't use your company this year. So,then, If you try to call their phone # you get a message that the mailbox is full and to try again. There is no email on their website. Now, I will NEVER use this company again. Update: I was able to send an email to the owner through the BBB. and received this response: " Please disregard any email we sent you earlier. You do not owes us any money. Do not send us any money. You will not go into collection. This was my mistake. I was trying to send a collection email to people who have not paid me yet, but somehow the wrong email file was sent. When I realized the problem, I restarted my server to stop the emails from being sent, and right then, my network went down, not allowing me to stop the emails. Sorry for any worry this may have caused you." I do give the owner credit for this response. We all make mistakes. So I am posting this for the benefit of others who experienced the upsetting original "collections" email. read more

Barreca did a great job sealing our driveway, which was new earlier this year. This was the third place we called (early October) and the only place that would still come out, all others were already booked for the season. They came and were fast, and then we got the invoice in the mail a few weeks later. Super easy! Highly recommend. read more

I have used Barreca Blacktop for many years now so even though I was offered the sealcoat job by someone else for a few dollars less I never even considered it. Like always they did a great job filling the cracks, seal coated the entire drive (200ft) and were gone within an hour leaving behind a normal great job. read more
