You'll learn proper form, alignment, and movement with instructors who genuinely care about your growth. I've seen a few negative reviews about membership cancellations, but honestly, those policies are pretty standard across any fitness studio. It's incredibly frustrating to pay for a membership and then struggle to use the classes you're paying for. The cancellation policy makes it even worse. You're required to give 30 days' notice, which essentially means you can end up being charged for another full month even after deciding you want to cancel. Communication was also a major issue. I repeatedly tried calling and could never get anyone to answer the phone. Between the difficulty booking classes, the 30-day cancellation requirement, and the lack of responsiveness, I would not recommend this membership.

But yoga encourages us to embrace change-- and NOW has proven to be well worth embracing! The space is phenomenal: intimate and simple, warm and inviting. The cork floors add some extra cushion and warmth. Lots of props, and I think the mat rentals are free if you walk or bike to class. But it really comes down to the instructors, and the NOW instructors are the best. They foster a class environment that is both challenging and accepting, and their insight is a great complement to the flows, but they don't take themselves too seriously. I'm not the most skilled yoga student but I feel comfortable in their classes. I love vinyasa and that makes up the bulk of class offerings, but I've become a new fan of their sculpt & flow (quite a workout) and yin classes as well. I haven't checked out any special events yet but they offer many. DEFINITELY worth checking this studio out!

This is not a "bone-cracker" who puts everyone through the same regimen; he is truly a healer that works from the root of the problem. Not only did the visits help, but all of his advise for exercises and self massage were invaluable. Best of all, he works to remedy issues - period! I have so many friends who just go week after week, month after month to their chiropractors without any end or real progress in sight. He provides free consultations! I personally enjoy the yin and gentle classes, but occasionally try the warm classes which are so nice in winter! Finally an inclusive yoga studio. This is a place that unashamedly embraces and accommodates people…read morelike me, who are size 12 and not size two. Real yoga for actual human beings, some of whom are thin white girls, but not all. From the moment I entered the bamboo walled studio I felt safe and yummy. I Noted the soothing piano arpeggios,and sat on the free, comfortable yoga mats. There were props a go go to sit on, including blankets, blocks, wedge shaped blocks, bolsters both round and rectangular, and best of all: Eye pillows and sand weights for your ankles or abdomen. This is real restorative yoga, not what is advertised by other studios as "restorative" or "yin." The place is quiet, with no external noises, and only six or so yoga students. This means individual attention and individual attention. This is a hands on, prop intensive place that is authentically in touch with yoga philosophy and its roots in the yoga sutras.
