I can't even begin to describe how awesome it feels to see myself as sexy again. For the past almost three years I have been overweight due to health complications, and my self-esteem took a nose-dive when I hit my heaviest weight this past September maxing out at 210lbs on a 5'4'' frame. After seeing that number on the scale, gorging myself on a half gallon of rocky road, and crying myself to sleep that night, I made a commitment to getting the weight off. Once I figured out that going to the gym and changing my eating habits after six months wasn't cutting it, I discovered the Body Barre. Normally I ignore facebook ads, but when I was scrolling through my newsfeed I saw a picture of a girl doing a pole dance with the caption "First week unlimited free classes at the Body Barre". I am a sucker for anything "free", and had been interested in pole classes for awhile, so I decided to be brave and signed up not really knowing what I was getting myself into... It has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. The entire staff is super friendly and welcoming, the instructors really know their stuff and how to get you to feel the burn where you need it, even the other women that attend classes are a pleasure to be around, and best of all everyone is so supportive! Women of all shapes and sizes, ages 16-67, pregnant women, and even the occasional brave men come to class to work and get their sweat on; not to judge one another which I've experienced in some other fitness studios/gyms. The studio itself is beautiful and clean. Though I usually frequent the Highlands Ranch location since its closer to my house, the Southmoore studio is just as nice, yet it feels a bit smaller and classes can feel a little crowded at times. This is just an all around awesome place to come and get a kickass workout. It may seem a bit pricey at first, but if you buy a package deal you really get your moneys worth. Once you're hooked, which doesn't take long at all to get addicted to this place, the unlimited monthly pass is so worth the $100 (for first time clients). During my first free week I attended 5 classes in four days! Now that I have my unlimited monthly pass, I go to class 5 days a week. The variety of classes the Body Barre offers is pretty sweet too. I don't feel like I'm doing the same routine day after day. All the different classes don't just keep me motivated to come every day, but because I'm keeping my muscles guessing I am actually seeing results! I'm seeing results fast. I still have a ways to go before I reach my ideal weight range, but I'm feeling sexier and more confident than I have in a long time thanks to the Body Barre and all the amazing women that make this place awesome. After many, many years of searching I finally found out the workout I have been looking for at the Body Barre. I did a month unlimited trial and lost 17 lbs in that first month with an average of 4 classes a week! And I was not on some crazy crash diet either. I was eating healthier, but not on any form of a diet by any means. The most amazing part to me was the weight dropped first in places that are usually the toughest and LAST places to go. I tried another Barre gym that was closer to my house and quickly realized that all Barre classes are not created equal. The other place did not even compare! Every class was the exact same and felt like I was doing the same workout tape at home over and over again. The instructors did not have the same passion and I never got excited to go to class like at the Body Barre. And because of the same class every time 0the results slowed down as well. I am very happy to be going back to the Body Barre again! The Body Barre has the exact formula of amazing instructors who care about each and every person in the class, never making you feel less then if you can't finish all of the reps, but just pushing you hard enough. The variety of classes are so fun and all so different you can take two classes in a row and love them both with out even realizing till you are walking to your car how bad you got your butt kicked. I'M ADDICTED!!!!!! I have to say this is the first place I have ever worked out and the instructors are so inspirational and truly love what they do. After my first class I was determined to be able to get through an entire work out without coming out of the different postions. I have to say, I can now get through an entire class! But the great thing is, it doesnt get easier you just get stronger. I have been going to their Highlands Ranch location for over 6 months now and I still get sore from the workouts, and I continue to see amazing changes in my body and mood. This isn't just a workout for me it almost feels like therapy at the same time!!! I have yet to meet an instructor I don't like or a class that doesn't kick your butt! And if you aren't sure, they give you a week free of as many classes as you want. I guarentee if you try that you will be back for more!!! read more

I've been coming to the Body Barre for a year now and I wouldn't consider going to another studio. Both the Pole classes and the Barre classes are phenomenal and taught by wonderful, well-trained instructors that really know what they are teaching. Every class is different and workouts are switched up frequently. Everyone at the studio is amazing and taking classes at the Body Barre have changed my life for the better. All of the clients are nice and I can honestly say, I have made friends and the studio has become a second home to me. There is no place I would rather be on any given night of the week. I have never felt better and more in shape in my life. If you have never been to the Body Barre, I HIGHLY SUGGEST you try the first week free! I started working out at Barre Forte about 6 months ago. It was my first attempt to get back into the work out world after several years of doing nothing. My very first class had me hooked! And now I am a 12 month member. The studio is clean & organized... the teachers are absolutely wonderful (patient & friendly with uncoordinated people trying their best like me)...the merchandise is amazing...they are always doing fun challenges to keep you engaged. I decided to try Barre a few months ago and I'm absolutely thrilled I did! I've always worked out at home but wanted to try something new. Its been a little over 4 months and I usually attend 3-4 times a week. I have seen my body change in ways I've never seen before! The class provides a full body workout and is worth every penny! What I love the most about Barre Forte is the challenge the instructors are able to provide no matter what shape I am in. When I started I was afraid I was going to get burnt out but that never happened, I was able to get a great workout that made me look forward to more! This is by far "The Best Workout" I have ever experienced. The instructors were great at giving you individual attention...while still keeping the entire class going! The staff and their customers were so friendly and helpful. Smaller class sizes - I like that you don't feel you are in a huge room with a bunch of strangers and nobody even knows you are there.
