The sweet bakery owner showed up at her house with the gorgeous cupcakes and my friend was out of town. She felt HORRIBLE for making such a mistake. She told the bakery owner she was SO sorry. She took full blame for it. Instead of taking the cupcakes back to her bakery and selling them herself, she told my friend to keep them, NO CHARGE and she'll be happy to make another bunch of cupcakes on the right date and deliver them as planned at the same price. The owner said "Hey, life happens and I get it. Just enjoy the cupcakes". My friend was so blown away.
