My third visit was booked in advance because I was going out of town for a week. multiple auto confirmations sent via text and email. He cancelled my appt at 6 pm on Friday the day before my appt. Next to impossible to get another appt anywhere with that notice. For someone running there own shop this a bad look.

Felt like part of community and I felt immediately welcome. Eddy talks to me for about a minute, gets a good feel for what I need and delivers. He was attentive, precise and just a damn good guy. After online web looking and phone I went in for a walk in to get a quick consultation (never discussed. My own initiative.) and had a walk in to have my hair done. Fabulous! Initial walk in: While I was there I voiced my concerns for barbers vs salons and was reassured. After meeting with their excellent team today I got my dream haircut! The establishment is not what I expected from a Barber location. It was just high end and really felt special. Chairs/stylist booths are kept extremely clean and organized and the overall quality of cleanliness is in my opinion better than most out there. While a staff member was cleaning an area I didn't notice overtly strong chemicals which kept the environment smelling suitable for guests. 10/10. Stylist: My stylist was none other than RIVKA FRYE, and here is what I will say about my experience. Rivka is an amazing and excellent stylist. She was kind, professional and greeted me with a handshake which in today's world was refreshing to see. She went out of her way to talk about the cut, address how she was going to go forth and additionally she left me room to voice my own concerns. Rivka not only did a fabulous job cutting my hair, but the conversation was very nice and refreshing. No awkwardness or overly overwhelming conversation, Just perfection all across the board and it felt like a place you'd go to hangout. No dreaded monthly feeling of "UGH! I gotta go get my hair done." It was enjoyable and felt like I was being given new life in my hairstyle. Rivka and her colleagues did everything I've been begging for in a barber/salon for over a decade. They communicated, made me feel safe and seen, and delivered what was asked and then some. They not only cut my hair. They helped heal a decade of trauma. That in itself is priceless. Thank you kindly to those at Floyd's today for making this experience worthwhile. I will be driving the extra thirty minutes now in the future because this level of care just cannot be beat. While my review may seem overly complimentary.
