I found Lakeside Barbers through a longtime friend. Up until now, I hadn't found a barbershop I truly liked. That search is over. On October 14th I made an appointment online through the website. I arrived 20 minutes early to get a feel for the place. Upon entering I knew I had found a great place. It was clean and authentic. Comfortable sofa's to sit in, interesting decor. They had acoustic guitars customers were allowed to play if they liked. A Foosball table to entertain while waiting, although my wait was very short. The atmosphere was quite friendly, everyone there was engaging in conversation about many things and just having a genuine good time. I opted for a haircut and beard shape up. I didn't know what I wanted, and I relayed that to Keith, my barber for the first experience. I let him know to give me a cut that would fit me. It was amazing. The cut is exactly what I wanted without knowing it. He took his time, not too hurried and not too slow. He meticulously crafted my hairstyle. Lines were perfect, cut was great. He gave me tips on how to maintain it between visits, as well as how to keep my beard maintained. I also purchased beard oil, a vanilla tobacco blend that has an amazing aroma. This was one of my best visits to a barber in a very long time. On a side note, listening to the barbers talk to customers and each other, this is a place that cares about the community. They are holding fundraisers, supporting local kids teams, and giving back. I would recommend this place to anyone with a strong 5 out of 5. The main reason I gave Lakeside Barbers 5 stars is because I couldn't give them 10! I have been with Keith since he opened Lakeside Barbers and I am not at all surprised at the success of his shop! I moved to Lake Wylie just over 2 years ago and had to find a new barber. I am very apprehensive when having to find a new barber and Keith put all my worries to rest! Stacy Spinnato Keith has been cutting my son's hair for two years, maybe Ionger. He is AWESOME!! He always tries his best to get us in when we need to get in, and if he can't, gets us with Rex or Spring, who also, deliver EXCELLENT service!! One of the reasons my son enjoys going to Lakeside Barbers is the Fuse Ball table, where he "attempts" to beat his mom, and in the summer, popsicles to enjoy on the way out!! We stumbled onto this place one weekend and decided to give it a try. Everyone is so friendly, professional and does a great job. My kids who hate haircuts asked when the next time they could go back. They do a great job every time. We now drive 25 minutes north to come up to this Barbershop. This is the best barber shop I have ever experienced. Everyone is friendly and very happy to be there. They do great work. I have had 5 or 6 cuts there now and look forward to going back.
