We met with four different companies and received quotes from each, but we either weren't confident in their work or just didn't feel they were the right fit until we met with JG Lawns. Craig came out to provide a free estimate and was brutally honest LOL. He never tried to oversell us or promise things that weren't realistic.  His personality and knowledge earned our trust, and combined with fair pricing, made our final decision to move forward with this company. Our project was originally expected to take about a week, but due to issues with choosing pavements and the paving company shipping the wrong materials, it ended up taking about a month. Even with the unexpected delay, Eric and Jesus (his dad) were fantastic throughout the entire process. They kept us updated every step of the way, explained any changes, and always made sure we were comfortable with the plan before moving forward. Their crew worked incredibly hard every single day. They treated our home with respect, paid attention to every detail, and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. Their pride in their work definitely shows in the finished product. We couldn't be happier with how our backyard turned out. It exceeded our expectations and has completely transformed our outdoor space. We would definitely recommend this company to anybody seeking turf and redo their yard. We are so glad we chose them.

At the time there was a sort of craft swap meet too. There were so many creative creators. I almost went broke. They have a decent size store that had about average prices. We got some great deals at the swap meet as well There is a small coffee shop and the lady behind the counter was super friendly. The coffee was average. It could have been less milky but my grandson loved his smoothie. There were a couple of cute chickens in a pen. There is a small sand pit for toddlers and also a swing set for smaller kids as well. There is a flower maze near the beginning The maze does need a bit of a makeover but we still had a nice time looking at the tall sunflowers. They have a small kissing bridge for a cute photo op I will definitely be back with my other grandchildren.

We interviewed three companies and ultimately chose Villanuevas Landscape for two main reasons. First, the owner, Andres, personally came to our home to assess the scope of the project and address our questions about adding gopher wire under the sod to mitigate the gopher issue. Second, his pricing was very reasonable compared to the other estimates we received. The entire project was completed in just two days. Andres actively managed the project from start to finish, and his crew worked efficiently while paying close attention to detail. They were respectful of our property throughout the process and made sure the work area was clean at the end of each day. Curtiss is highly knowledgeable, professional, experienced, and a pleasure to work with. The level of communication was refreshing, and Curt's Land Patrol truly lived up to their stated objective of "providing personal service with excellence." At every step, we had clear expectations, and Curtiss and his crew delivered exactly as promised. We were especially impressed by how quickly they were able to start the job. The quality of the work was top notch, and instead of dragging the project out for another month or two, they worked every day and had everything wrapped up in a couple of weeks. Their price was also very reasonable, and the payment schedule was fair: one installment around the halfway mark, after hauling away some hardscape/dirt, prep work, and irrigation installation, and the final payment once they had completed the job. Another thing that stood out was the complimentary 45-day weekly service, with on-site maintenance to make sure the plants are adjusting and the landscaping is solid. I grew up in a time when that level of care and follow-through was the norm, and it felt like old school landscaping service in the best way possible. At the risk of sounding like an ad campaign for Curt's Land Patrol, I can't recommend them enough. They will be our go-to landscaper as long as we are in San Diego.
