    The tow bill after picking up my vehicle after 2 months of them repairing it... only to have it die on the way home

    The new service manager definitely has the service department running with much better flow. Unfortunately, Luke, my favorite and usual advisor decided to explore other opportunities, however, the overall customer service and the attention to each customer's needs(speaking on a personal experience) truly makes it feel as though you're their only customer, when it's actually one of many. I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to get their car fixed at collision. The entire reason for my review and interaction with the service manager was due to severe carelessness, lack of communication, knowledge and most importantly accountability when it comes to repairing a car. I made a serious mistake having my bmw repaired at the collision center. You'd think $10k and 2ish months to repair a vehicle, there wouldn't still be significant issues 8 months later. after having my car back, had it not been for the service dept at baron bmw, this comment wouldn't be where and other avenues would've most definitely been taken. I did learn though that the service center does do paint and some body repair, which I wish I'd known. Just because it had baron on the title doesn't give it the same integrity or reputation.

    This updated review is brought to you by the service department, who obviously do not know how to communicate. It's time for routine maintenance. Nothing extravagant. I arrived a few minutes early before my appointment for an oil change. We checked in and were sent to the lobby. We waited over an hour with no update or introduction to a service advisor. My husband called to check the status of my car and they informed him the oil change was done. The delay was them checking for a quote for a new battery, which we knew needed to be replaced. Here's the thing, BMW service is expensive. It's a luxury brand. My experience with the sales department was stellar. I would not mind having them replace my battery, but after this? I'm good. So many employees walked past my daughter and I without acknowledging us or giving us an update. Not even asking us if we have been helped. Nothing. It's sad that my husband had to call. I just checked my phone and they sent a service email because they "found" additional repairs. I guess that was the update. Maybe the State Line location will do better by us next time.

My car, like many cars that are on the market today, has tons of bells and whistles, so adding a battery means doing a reset and reprogram. Guess what? I don't have the tools or the knowledge on how to do that. Could I change a battery many years ago? Absolutely! Could I change a battery now? No way... That's why I needed someone with the tools, the know-how, and the availability. I put in a request via Yelp to get a project started, and Prymo was the first to respond and had availability the next morning. They sent a tech to my house, he quickly diagnosed that the battery had no charge left, even though I had a jump the day before, and he commenced replacement. I didn't have to do anything other than do what I usually do, which is work from home. Fast-forward a half-hour and the job was done. I had a new battery, the tech had reprogrammed everything to its proper state, and he was on his way. Prymo accepts debit and credit, though a credit card purchase will come with a 3% charge, which is very fair since that's what the banks stick to the business. It wasn't cheap, but most of the cost was in the actual battery itself, which came with a five-year warranty. Great response, simple to navigate and schedule, and the tech was professional and skilled. Great experience and highly recommend if you're in the same situation.
