This location is supposed to be open 24hr but when I swung by for snacks and gas the female attendant working refused to assist my boyfriend and I. I moved to the area recently and use this gas station frequently ONLY with cash. I say this because I was recently a victim of credit card fraud. Their gas is always the cheapest, but I'm starting to think their business practices are shady and unsecured. Maybe it wasn't them, but the $124.19 fake charge came from 'ADNOC Abu Dahbi' as a "gas station" charge. My bank covered me, but saying that I only use this place and United Oil as off brand gas stations, with Shell/Chevron in between, it's pretty strange I got ID theft'd from the mainstream stations now when I haven't had any issues in the 20 years I was living up in LA. Use cash. I can't emphasize that enough. Otherwise, there's an Arco on Santa Fe Rd. I rather pay $0.45 convenience fee than another $34.00 overdraft fee and have to contest it. read more

The only reason it gets two stars is for convenience near my home. That's probably too generous today. Pump wouldn't take my credit card. I went inside. To fill up you have to give them an "amount" if you pay inside. If I don't have to give an amount when I swipe at the pump I shouldn't have to give an amount inside. This isn't 1977. Then to top it off, when I go inside they want a picture ID with my credit card. I left that in my car. Again, if I don't need to produce a picture ID at the pump, I shouldn't have to produce one when I'm inconvenienced to walk inside because YOUR pump card reader isn't working. I go outside to get my ID & try the pump reader for the 5th time and now it's working. All this hassle to get gas!!! I will certainly make sure I am not running low on gas in the future and will avoid this 20th century station as much as possible. read more

Great prices, not Costco prices but better than most. Sometimes crowded but that's to be expected. I've noticed problems with the pumps on a few occasions but not too big a deal running inside to pay, usually go in to get lotto tickets anyway. Overall the place I go most often, doesn't hurt that it's close to the house. The employees have never been friendly, which would definitely be a plus, sometimes I decide not to go there because I don't want to see their sour faces. read more

My handicapped mom went there yesterday and asked for assistance to pump her gas. The attendant care out side and looked at her and said "we've been through this before you need to have a sticker". First off this jerk made assumptions simply based on a license plate. I handicapped as well and I have a placard as does my mom because we have several cars. She was furious. She has a heart condition which is aggravated by stress. My mom is a very honest person and to be accused of being dishonest is very insulting to her. If this attendant was uncertain of her handicapped status all he had to do was ask and not make assumptions. The other weird thing is that my mom has NEVER asked for help before and this guy said to get "we've been through this before". What's up with that? I was just at this gas station about 20 minutes ago. There was a pump malfunction, the station didn't get their money and I was required to go inside to pay. I could not use my card to pay. That does not make any sense to me. The attendant said I would have to pay in cash for the $14 dollar purchase. I did not have any cash and had to use the ATM, which charged a fee. The attendant would not even offer to give any gas to cover that fee. She was not helpful and very rude. I will not be going back to this gas station ever again and would advise other people to do the same. read more

I Love the convience of this gas station its near my house and I make my money orders here for $1.00. BUT whats with the strong Pinesol smell every single time I go in there. I come out with my allergies irrated and I can't imagine the employees smelling that all day cant be good for their health?? I usually have good experiences here-- except for today. I came during midnight shift change & stood at the window for several minutes in plain view of an employee while he ignored me. I asked nicely if I could get some gas, with cash in my hand. He still ignored me, so I left for United Oil right down the street. Somebody needs to teach him proper customer service. read more

Kind of small convenience store but they have what I need...cheap cigarettes. I always come here and the employees are friendly and always know exactly what I need when I come in. I used to buy my gas here, but recently they have started charging an extra $0.10 a gallon to pay with a credit card. I can understand a $0.45 debit fee (no I can't actually), but when it costs an extra $1.40 to fill up just because, no thank you. The worst part is that they have the cash price up on their huge sign and the credit card price on a teeny tiny sign below. read more

I asked the girl at the counter if there was any more and she walked over and grab the pot and slammed it down on her counter and just said yeah the machine is still working push the button but I told her that when you push the button only hot water comes out she ignored me and walked away. to Brian. I just got off the phone with George, this is xxx, the owner of the boat that tried to get gas from your store on 9/20/17 at aprox 4 am. I understand that your employee had the opportunity to make the best of our transaction and could have diffused the situation with a simple smile and apology, instead she came on said in strong terms, that "She didn't care" that we had called the day before to make sure we could come in to the store to buy ice at 4 am and get gas for our fishing trip- right away when your employee says , first thing that she say is she doesn't care, you dont think that reflects on your business? she said it repeatedly, not I am sorry, "I dont care" it could have just as easily be FU. get out of my store.. And if my nephew, who tried to buy ice was abusive, I am not condoning that , but the frustration started when we showed up and the doors were closed, not like we were told the day before, and we understand if she has to lock up to go the bathroom or clean, but what she and any good employee would do is apologize for keeping us waiting, she wanted us to apologize to her even bothering her to do her job. When I spend an average of $200.00+ or more every time I get gas for my boat, plus ice and snacks for my trip,at least 10-15 times this summer alone, which has always been at your station for years, I always buy my gas there, I expect a better level of service than what we received. $200.00+ x 15 visits $3000.00+ this year alone so when she turned the gas pump, in the middle of me pumping off just to be punitive because we may have called her out on her bad service,, well that is just mean and honestly low class,.. I was just at this gas station I go there all the time been going there for over 7 years. The young lady that was in there this morning which is Friday September 22nd was a very rude cashier. Coming in the door she slammed the door why she had to go and take tape from around the gas pump. Didn't say excuse me didn't say move out of the way, didn't say I'll be right back or anything. So when she came back I told her I said good morning and I began to tell her that when I was at the door how she slammed the door in my face and wouldn't say anything. Wasn't trying to make the young lady upset just needed to let her know she need customer service. She began by telling me she was not rude , and then wanted me to move out of the way so she can help the other customers . That wasn't going to happen because I wanted to get some gas,so she said to me I have other customers that I need to to serve and I said I totally understand but you going to serve me first . Ripoff station. I used my debit card at the pump, like I do in reputable stations. They charged me ten cents more a gallon for their "credit" price. In the middle of pumping the gas I noticed a small sign that you have to go inside the building to use your debit card. What kind of nonsense is that? I chose the station because the price appeared fair, but didn't know I was being charged the higher credit price until it was too late. Please avoid this unethical business. I have been living in the area for years and have gone to this gas station because it has the cheapest gas around. I have dealt with Angela for the past couple of months and can tell you that she does a good job and is super sweet and polite. I have witnessed homeless people all around the area and some simply rude customers. One thing I think that people don't realize is that we all carry around some sort of chip on our shoulders and to read what the last guy wrote, makes me mad as heck. I have seen this lady work her butt off and try to keep her level of composure while someone was yelling at her and calling her names because they messed up.. not her. Mark W, you will get what's coming to you because it doesn't matter who you think you may be, you still need to respect the next person and what they have to do. Very rude customer service! The lady working in the front as a cashier doesn't care about helping the customer at all. I went to the gas station this weekend, I was trying to pump gas from the machines outside, for whatever reason it was not letting me, the screen advice me to go pay inside with the cashier. I go inside and paid $20 for gas, got my receipt and made my way back to pump gas. I waited couple minutes because no gas was coming out, the screen kept saying "One moment please". So then i go back inside and tell the cashier that I still haven't been able to pump my gas. She starts telling me that in the computer it shows that i already had pumped gas, blah blah. She then called the manager infront of me and advice me that he was on his way , to give him about 5 minutes. So i went to my car and waited for about 10 minutes. The lady comes running to me and tells me that the manager is not coming anymore, that their isnt much she can do. Per her words " you lost your money already", umm excuse me! She did not try helping at all, instead kept assuming that i had already pump gas and was trying to get away with it. She then goes back to the store, im over here upset . I try pumping the gas again of hope that it starts pumping my gas, then out of nowhere it starts pumping gas and stops at $3. I walk inside and guess who was there, the MANAGER! after the cashier had told me he wasnt coming anymore. So now im more frustrated, i tell him what my issue was, and he advices me that he stopped my gas because the cashier had told him that i already pumped gas, when i didnt!. I paid at the pump for gas ($25.00) and then decided to pop in to the store to get a soda. I already had a 32 ounce plastic cup so I brought it in. I didn't care about a "refill price" I just don't like contributing to landfills when I don't have to. Again, perfectly willing to pay full 32 ounce price. I was met with rudeness by the the cashier. At the register, she charged me for a 44 ounce so I simply asked "Isn't a 32 ounce 89 cents?" Here it comes...............wow. She said with a look and tone of unnecessary unfriendliness "We don't do 7 11 refills. If you want a refill go to 7 11." WHAT!?!?! I explained I don't want a "refill". I just don't want to waste a cup. I asked why she was charging me MORE for not using one of Barnacle's cups and she only repeated herself and added "If your going to bring that cup in here you're going to get charged for a big one." . Which is, of course, not an explanation. Now, I don't care about a dime but I do care about stupidity. I do care about rude behavior. I do care about being looked at as if I was trying to scam the place. It was SO nonsensical and strange. I pushed it, simply because curiosity, regarding this encounter, was overwhelming. I said "Do you realize how ridiculous you sound ?" To which she replied "Yes." "Well, alright then." A co-worker, at the other register said under her breath, with out making eye contact "She is only doing her job." I find the delivery of this experience an unnecessary aspect of the work these two ladies perform. I disagree with cashier #2's soft statement. After my fuel purchase, I feel "Doing her job" would have been to be polite and simply say "Oh.....yep....a 32 ounce IS 89 cents." Let it go and let me leave the store with a merry "Happy 4th of July." without wondering about what weird back story could possibly make a business dislike someone bringing in their own plastic soda cup. Lady......Soda wasn't my mission. Fuel was. Do not tell people how to shop. 7 11 does not have gas near me. I am not a child. You are guilty of a customer service misstep when you spoke to me, as if I was. When I arrived at the non profit animal shelter where I volunteer, and shared the story.........I got a lot of "Now you know why I like working with animals." and "People are crazy. No one can be logical, anymore. I'm sure her boss is an idiot, she has a low skill set and is afraid of losing her job." etc. But here is the thing: Even though I am 100% reasonable in questioning such a hostile policy (You might want to put up a sign saying you encourage wastefulness)............that hostility spread and I am the one who felt defensive and angry and doubled the rudeness given to me by the Cashier when instead of wishing her a Happy Holiday I walked out saying "Fuck -You." I'll work on pulling in my issues and please, Barnacle's Express, consider allowing someone to fill up a cup, in an environmentally friendly fashion, without your staff making a negative of it.
