Have you ever accidentally placed your hand on a hot stove, moments before you had to do something with your hands? Well I have. And let me tell ya, Id rather rest my b@lls on said stove, than have to shop at this place. The staff is terrible for the most part, it smells like there is a sewage backup, and the gas is always a dollar above the store down the road. Clearly the new owner is more obsessed with his base model Tacoma, than he is running a good business. The electronic payment processor is always broken, and the counter always sticky. The best thing about this place is the BBQ restaurant that has the unfortunate luck of being a part of the store. Save yourself the stress, and go to the new gas station down the road. Over priced gas station with very poor service. They won't put a sign that they don't serve propane (love lining and waiting for nothing) nor when their ATM machine is out of order. Their pump 'ate' my entire reward point 3 times already and the cashier cannot do anything about it. The staff also don't answer when you ask to talk to an attendant at the pump... My complaint is with their carwash. Twice, I was ripped off and will not ever visit a Chevron again. The first time, I paid $11 for the wash of my van and it did not clean the front of it at all (too long? Its a Toyota Sienna). And recently, I drove my Tesla through the carwash thinking it would work this time and again, it did not clean or dry my car. So now, I've been ripped off 2 times totally $22.00. This place is a joke for getting propane. This is not a location where you exchange your tank, they actually have to go outside and fill it for you. Management must have understaffed this location the day I went. Store clerk told me to wait outside and he'd send some one out. I asked if I should pay now and he said No pay after. @5:40pm on 1/3/20. I waited 15min 5:55pm and nothing and I again ask him and he said Were short staffed we will get to you when we can. So it made me late for my bbq, finally some one comes out and fills my tank who reeked of pot btw but it took less than 2min. He tells me to go pay inside. Now inside the line was full of 8 people which would have taken another 10min. Go somewhere else for propane. And even gas since their prices are alway 25 cents higher than everyone else. read more

Filled up this morning, as usual, we had to go inside for receipt. We also wanted to exchange some of our CA Lotto scratches. The female clerk points to the machine and responds- 'it's turned off. Yes, they sale propane...no, not when you need it. I was excited to see some upgrades to their propane selling area--including a button to call an attendant. However, if said attendant can't or won't come fill up your propane, you end up standing there for no reason. After going inside to check, I was told I would need to come back in an hour and a half ‍ so yeah, not happening. read more

I dare you to try this place for gas!! Try to use your rewards card number! Good luck! The station owners won't update and upgrade the software system and it's terrible for months and months now. Go ahead and try it,! even without using your rewards card it's hit or miss if the pumps work for the debit card. Hopefully Chevron will hold them to some quality inspections and standards! This is a very convenient gas station. It's never super busy which I like however this also means their gas isn't the cheapest. They are usually about 30 cents more than the gas stations down the street. They do have a Flying Pig to go restaurant in the convenience store. The store is usually very clean and the cashiers have always been nice to me. They do not sell alcohol, fyi but do have a variety of other soft drinks. read more

Okay so yes the gas is pricey but because Chevron has good quality gas you pay extra for the good stuff. ARCO will always affordable gas and that's because the gas is low quality and because of that you have to fill up more often. The late shift employee girl is somewhat friendly but not rude so that's a plus. I love that at the pumps there is squeegees and paper towels for your windshield. The car wash isn't that great and the most affordable wash is 7 bucks instead of 6 like at other Chevrons. read more

I go into this store at like 10pm looking to get a gas gift card for my dad father's day gift, i walk in ask if they sell em, older, slim white guy working there points to brochures and gift cards very vaguely "it's all online put your information" (now i always assume you pay the value you want on it right on the spot and then activate online) so i asked to clarify (oh, so you just register online huh?) and he looks at me for a good 3 seconds with the sarcastic smirk and goes "yes ma'am" with this tone as if i'm stupid or something. not gonna lie my sensitive self got kind of aggravated by that so i just thanked the man and left. cant stand people who act like this. if you're going to work customer service position, do it right. i'm 19 and all my jobs have been customer service and i remain positive always. gross. read more

This Chevron deserves 5 stars because the place is so ridiculously well lit and kept at night, I am not scared to fill up at 1AM if need be. Their storefront, the pumps, and area is clean and maintained. There's also no goofy ATM-convenience fee or hike in charges for using your credit card. Solid, solid gas. Friendly staff, but HOLY CRAP, I bought a gallon of ice cream here and it cost me $7. That's the only reason why this place is getting 4 stars. Don't ever try to come between a girl and her ice cream. No, really though, the people here are super friendly. The gas here is more expensive than other nearby stations, but you know.. just don't fill up here if you don't want to. There's Barnicles right down Vista Way, which is way cheaper. read more

I've been going to Foothill Chevron for 20 years, on Sunday 06-03-18 a cashier named Jose was rude and uncaring about the customers, he didn't say hello or thank you or anything for that matter , made me feel like I was an annoyance to him, I said thank you have a good day after I paid, he said nothing, I than told him he had a bad attitude, he just looked at me and said nothing, very disappointing. It's gotten better here over the last year, the pumps have been updated (internally) so there faster, used to be so slow I grew a beard waiting, prices are a bit higher but it's chevron, and is the closest to my house that accepts ARI (fleet gas card) it's always well lite and feels safe which is good because the nature of my work there are times where I've had to get gas a night. read more

I've bought propane monthly from this location for over 4 years and I've noticed a steady decline in customer service. To put it simply if you're a customer you're gonna wait forever and get someone who's got the personality of a dirty wet dish cloth to accept your money and they'll do it with a "I hate that you came in here" look on there face... the entire time. So today 5-3-19 I pulled into the pump location by the propane tank to fill as I've done for years and when I asked for help and got no response I went to the gas pump where there is a button to speak someone inside, they call this "assistance" but really your talking to a forehead and got the response of "dude man there's like someone already out there" and he was right accept for his drug addled brain was seeing ME not someone who could fill my propane tanks. Lesson learned given there high prices and exceptionally terrible service. Propane in north county is hard to find. I was worried I would go here and there would be only 1 person doing everything. As soon as I pulled up by the propane tank one of the employees saw me and came right out. Tank was full paid 3.35 a gal and was in and out in 5 min. read more

Their gas stations may be fine, but their customer service stinks. When trying to make a payment online and I couldn't get to my account, I called customer service to make a payment on my credit card, and they wanted to charge me 25.00 which they would not waive. They gave me the run around, and when I finally got to the correct site to make a payment, They said I couldn't make a payment for 3 days because I changed my banking information. What the hell! I was getting gas there on Sunday June 4th and I was scammed. I swiped my card and entered all the info as directed and the machine wouldn't work. I called the attendant, which was a girl named Nancy. She said she cleared the machine and to try it again. I did and tried it several times and it wouldn't work. I called her again(on the machine is a button to call the attendant). She said if it didn't work to move to a new pump. I finally did and immediately a lady stands in front of the pump and calls her car over and drives in as I pumping across the way. They immediately put the hose in start pumping gas. I call the attendant again and she saids she cleared it and not to worry. I than go into the store and tell the lady. I call my bank but it hasn't posted yet and they say wait till Tuesday when all the transactions have come through. I wait till Tuesday morning and low and behold there is their transaction for $44 and mine for $52. I will be filing reports and starting a investigation into this gas station. read more
