I am a frequent customer of the on line store. I placed an on line order on November 1, 2018 and realized that I ordered the wrong item. It was too late to contact the business that day so I tried to reach them the next day. No one ever answers their customer service phone, it just goes to voice mail. Over the course of November 2 and 3, I left 2 voice mail messages and sent 3 e-mails, one of which was to the Manager. I never received a reply. I was trying to correct the order BEFORE it was shipped. The order was shipped anyway. Now if I return the item that I ordered incorrectly, I have to pay shipping, then their policy is to issue store credit or send the item I want (if they have it in stock). All this could have been avoided if they returned my messages. They do not live up to their customer satisfaction policy. read more

Overall, I really like this place. It is not my first choice when purchasing a motorcycle because the bikes, both new and used, Harleys and foreign, are very over priced and there is no room for negotiating at this particular dealership. Most of their used selection is very used with alot of worn and high mileage bikes. I've found that I can travel a few hundred miles away to a different dealership and still get a better deal and still save money even after travel and trailering expenses. As far as everything else outside the bike inventory and bike prices, this place is absolutely amazing! Their merchandise department has everything and their selection is outstanding. Their staff is very attentive and very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If you're having trouble finding something or certain size they will go to the back and look and if they can't find it they will help locate it for you online. The parts department aswell is very helpful and extremely knowledgable. I was very impressed by their service department, they go far and beyond to get you what you need and get you back on the road. Tip: Jonathan in the service department and Priscilla in collision are the ones to see if you ever need work done on your Harley or need help with an insurance claim. I have a great story about this place. Me and a bunch of my friends ride Harley Davidson motorcycles. My buddy's bike broke down one day on I-10 and he called barnett to get a tow but they denied the tow because the were closed. So low and behold..mr barnett himself pulls up on the highway and gives him a ride home after he calls and tells the tow truck to come get the bike. Then he foots a bill that was easily 800 dollars to fix the bike and changes the policy for towing after hours. Now thats customer service. I get a lot of apparel from there and the people are always helpful but not pushy. read more

I am afraid of motorcycles however I must admit, I was in awe with all the different bikes they had on display to purchase. For a hot second it had me even wanting to learn how to ride and buy one. I was there with my friend Dottsy Z. as she wanted to get some cool new gear for bike week coming up here in AZ. Wow! They have some kick ass stuff and it isn't cheap by any means. But you will come out of that place looking like one cool biker chick! I just may have to check out the store here in Scottsdale and see what I can find. DON"T GO HERE! They charge so much money and take forever to work on your bike and make stuff up. I walked in there to drop off my bike, It says $75 per hour labor charge on a sign ion the wall, when I come back to pick it up theres a sticker over the $75 that was there and the sticker said $95, which is what I was charged. They tried To tell me over the phone that to just change a security module, that it took 11 hours of labor and the part cost $300. Thats over 1300$ for changing a security module! After arguing the price, they ever so gratiously dropped it down to 4 hours which I think was just one of those "lets throw a ridiculously high price at this guy, then say we're doing him a favor by lowering it so he is gratfull for the next high price we throw at him. my bike was left out, with fresh rain spots all over it,. They sent me on my way without giving me the key fob that comes with the security module, and let me drive off with no working lights and a bad rear brake. These guys suck, they blow smoke up your rear, they over charge, they BS and they Have no problem ripping off military folks. DON"T GO HERE! read more

Because they had extremely large back load. I recently purchased a Harley half helmet. The moment I opened the box, I knew I would not be happy. It fit and look were less than acceptable. I immediately emailed them to ask for a return or exchange and they immediately responded with a sentence saying that there are no returns or exchanges. I tried calling all day to speak with someone but all you get is a message saying someone will get back to you during normal business hours. I have left several messages. I am still waiting for that call. Customer service is non existent. I would not recommend this place read more

Here's my experience with Barnett: trailered 3 bikes from Houston to EP, 1 Harley, 2 BMW's for 9 day ride thru New Mexico. Called Barnett and they offered to let me store my car and trailer in their yard at no charge. They also fixed my brothers bike timely and at a reasonable price. GET THIS!!! THE SERVICE IS BS!!! I was getting service done on my motorcycle a while back ago. They are truly lazy. Even if you set an appointment they wont work on your bike when you were appointed. Instead they will continuously tell you it will be ready soon but never is. Took long to get my bike back. Who wants to wait long without their bikes? I sure don't. It was truly annoying. Absolutely the worst when it comes to functioning as a dealership. They are more like a collectors museum. All prices marked on bikes are overpriced and no room for dealing. I'm not sure why they would even list themselves as a Harley Davidson DEALERSHIP. I wonder if corporate is aware of this particular dealerships goal to push customers away from Harley Davidson as a choice? They have no interest in earning a customer, only earning $$$. On the bright side, Barnett's dysfunction as a company provides opportunity for another entrepreneur to start an actual Harley Davidson DEALERSHIP in El Paso. Their customer service is poor and they don't stand by their products. I purchased a bracelet as a christmas gift. Less than a month latter it broke and the charm was lost. I called Barnett to as for a replacement. The stated that they could not give me a replacement because the charm was lost. They did say they would give me a PARTIAL refund but could not give me the full refund because the charm was lost. I spoke to two people and they both said the same thing. read more

Looking for a certain Harley Ultra Glide Limited. The sales person wouldn't work with me on even getting something similar. Found a used one close to the color Im looking for, the sales man walked away saying he was busy with another customer. The guy was not even busy was at his desk when he walk to us. I asked one of the other sales people to tell him about what happened. When about to ask him he yelled at me asking if I was drunk. I am sunburned but not drunk. Had not drank alcohol in about a week. I still told him about what had happened but still interrupted still asking if I was drunk and if I had my endorsement. I found out the first sales guy had left home. After a while it hit me. I guess I have to be a 50 60 year old grey haired for them to even attend you. Whats wrong being young and getting a Harley. Its 2017 and vintage in. If Im there, Im obviously interested. You should be proud the fact that a younger dude wants a Harley instead of a crotch rocket. read more

These people are complete crooks! They do have a great selection so it's a good place to go locally and look, then find the bike you want somewhere else. Their bikes are priced OVER MSRP and they do not negotiate. When I pointed out that the bikes were over priced and above MSRP I was told "we don't sell for MSRP, we don't have to". The best part, the owner brags about being a military veteran (so am I, 25 years), but they don't even do anything for veterans. I was told "we don't do any discounts". so what's the point of bragging about being a veteran? Save thousands, go somewhere else. read more

I have shopped here off and on over the past twelve years. They are overpriced in their bikes and have a lot of "junk" on their floor as the owner appears to be somewhat of a hoarder. They prey on bikers with less than perfect credit and overcharge for the bike and pad the deal along with really high interest rates (none of which I was subjected to as I used Pentagon Fed. CU). I bought my bike there years back new and got it for MSRP as I would have otherwise bought it through the military buying service. My salesman was great! The guy next to me was buying the exact same bike and was paying $5000 more than me as he was paying the "Barnett" price. Their service department is SLOW and also overpriced. They are predatory and a local monopoly and their building is a disaster that Harley should look at to force them to bring it up to standard. I order my parts from a dealer in PA that gives a military discount (Barnett does not), and I go to other local competent, reasonable, and punctual service establishments (Barnett put 60w oil in my bike when I asked for synthetic the only time I took it there). Oh, also they offer next to nothing on trade ins and overcharge significantly for their used/abused bikes. Drive to AZ or northern NM if you want a bike. Lastly, I am friends with several ex-Barnett employees who left due to their unfair business practices and now work elsewhere as the root of the problem is the Barnetts. read more

Horrible Dealership that gives Harley Davidson a bad name. It all started with trying to get my bike serviced. I am an Disabled Veteran still on Active Duty. When I was in the dealership, I was told by Brian that they were able to do a "courtesy" pick up and drop off since I am unable to ride. I set up a pick up day and time. An hour after my scheduled appointment (10:00am), I called to inquire about the pick-up. I was told they were unable to get a hold of the driver and that they would make sure I got a call back. Two hours past and no phone call. So I called back to ask for the service manager, only to be told she was busy and would call me back. Two days past and no phone call. I eventually had the bike towed to the dealership on a flat bed. When I went to pay for the service (over $500.00 later) I was told by Richard (Ric) that I would be able to have it delivered by their "Courtesy" service. So here I am a gullible sucker requesting service and having a delivery time for Thursday at 1400 (2 P.M.). When the driver called over half hour past my appointment time, he stated he was on his way and be here shortly. I live on Fort Bliss (I Told Them), So it was my surprise when the Driver (Hector) called me from the gate asking if I could pick up my bike, because he didn't have his id card or drivers license. I of course told him I couldn't because I am disabled. He told me he had to go back to get his ID card, then I get a call about 30 minutes later asking if I had already paid for the delivery. I explained that I had been told it was a courtesy since I was having the work completed there. He then said, someone else would be by to deliver my Harley. About 10 minutes go by and he said the service manager advised him that I could only have it delivered if I paid the fee. I asked to speak to the service manager and was told she was too busy to speak to me and she would call back within a few minutes. When she finally calls, we had a lengthy conversation about the lack of quality control of her service personnel. In the end, she said she wanted to make it right and offered to deliver my bike for free, even though I was already told it was a "courtesy" and delivered it the following day. That was the worse experience in the world. Not even the Harley-Davidson Dealer in Germany gave bad service. I do not recommend you do any type of business with this dealership, I would rather pay a shipping fee than deal with these people again. read more
