Constantly asking my fiancé, when are we leaving the country? I have never seen something of this sort in the US, first time ever. I was about to buy a book, and he is like are you done, leave the place, it's not even 10 minutes into the store this old person is asking me to leave his place and hopefully given a chance he wants me out of this country. Total sexist and racist!!! Note: we are at this bookstore to buy good books and improve our knowledge base and not to argue with an old person or disrespect them. Yes, you're paying more for a book than you would on Amazon but this is the opposite of a greedy corporation who screws everyone. This is truly local and I'm lucky to live 20 mins away.

If you're into cookbooks specializing in cranberries, this is the destination. There are tons of rarities for reasonable prices; the owners are helpful and will guide you through the labyrinthine store. Plenty of gardening books, histories of Cape Cod and New England, marine biology stashed next to Mormonism and geology, you name it, they probably have it. It takes some looking- and the looking is worth your time. There are pulp fiction books, old cassette tapes and LPs, Cape Cod memorabilia. It's called "haunted" but maybe because it's kind of a mess. Books are piled high, they fall, ghosts get blamed. It is a pleasant haunt.
