I love getting a cup o'joe and setting up camp in the cafe area to do some work. It's a nice change of environment from the library.

Amazed that I'm the first to review this location! What an exceptional used book store! I have a…read morehuge interest in presidential biographies, and this store delivered when it came to that genre. I walked out with a couple great books to add to my collection, and will be back soon to pick up some more! My favorite thing about this store is that they offer hard to find books for a great price. They have an extensive Pennsylvania section which includes biographies about many of of the small colleges dotting the southeast part of the state, and a large amount of genealogical books as well. I was strapped for time and didn't get a chance to explore the entire store, but the sections I perused left me with a great feeling about the place. The lady who helped me check out was extremely friendly as well. Have already recommended this store to a couple friends and family, and I will personally be making the trip back out as soon as next week. Highly recommend!

I've been to many used book stores. Most look about the same, with about the dame pricing, etc…read more And this one holds true to that. Looks like most other used bookstores. But... The owners of THIS store have been in the book business for a while. Both put in years at a large chain bookstore. They've used that experience to create a store people WANT to shop. They are extremely knowledgeable on many topics, and very friendly. The store, like many used bookstores, is a work in progress. The difference is the people, and the staff are amazing!

What a lovely atmosphere. Delighted to have the Bookstore Bakery in West Chester. They support…read morethe local community too, giving the West Chester Green Team books for holiday baskets for the elderly and for the Little Library at the Melton Center. So very kind. Some stores tout their charitable status but don't walk the walk. This bookstore is the real deal. Generous, with an amazing selection of books and delectable desserts. A good spot to go since our beloved Second Reading stores closed. They have my highest recommendation.

Absolutely loved it here. Just dropped in because they had a copy (and collector's edition, no…read moreless!) of one of my favorite books in the window display. Inside there are a few pastries for sale and a few books for sale of varying genres. I can't speak for the food, as we didn't purchase any, but the owners are so nice and personable. We chatted about favorite books and despite only being here for 11 months, I hope they become a dub-c staple. The owners are a couple, one who went to school for culinary and the other for poetry. Truly a story from a Hallmark movie! Supporting independent bookstores and small POC-owned businesses is a priority for me, and I'm happy to welcome this location to the area. Their book collection is small, but the owner seems to have read most of them or can still give pointers. Still a wide variety of genres for sale, from children's books to horror to Japanese poetry.
