I did a ton of research before deciding where to get my puppy. I found Barmor and the price seemed to good to be true, i am a very skeptical person. So i started my research. I found several people who live around me who got pups from Barmor and they were all very happy. I found Barmor's Facebook page and what stood out to me was how active the owner Daryl was on his page and the real sense of community from other Barmore puppy owners. Anytime anyone had a question, he responded right away with advice and help. So i contacted him with some questions and he responded right away with answers and ideas. I have had Oreo now for over a year and what a great dog he is. The one comment i get from everyone is how great his disposition is. He is the friendliest pup with both humans and other dogs. But, owners have to realize, great lineage only goes so far. How you train and interact with your dog goes a long way in determining how a puppy acts. With Daryl's guidance, the input of other owners who frequent his page and a lot more research, i was able to set up a good training program for Oreo and he is amazing. read more

If you are looking for a cockapoo puppy look no further. They don't get any better than Daryl and Barmor Kennels. From the moment I contacted Daryl over a year ago when my search for a puppy began, Daryl couldn't not have been any more helpful. He answered any and all questions in a timely manner and kept me up to date regarding litters. When I picked my puppy up this past May, he filled me in on all details necessary and sent us home with a complete care package including a Lamie stuffed toy, which is kind of a Barmor tradition. Since we have gotten home and training has begun Daryl was right there to answer any questions we had and helped us through some tough times while potty training. Barmor Kennels is just not a place to get a puppy, it has become a tight-knit community where we can share stories and get help or recommendations for all raising our four-legged children. Daryl and Barmor Kennels get's my highest recommendation. If you are looking for a Cockapoo or Schnoodle puppy look no further. You've come to the right place! read more

I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to take the time to write this one. We adopted a puppy from Barmor puppies last year after our daughter discovered this breeder. We each have a pup from the same litter of Cockapoos. This is the 4th time we have adopted from a breeder, and the experience stands out as the best. They are wonderful pups- smart, fun, energetic, and healthy, but more than that, Daryl clearly cares about all of his puppies. This is not just a business for him. He requires that the puppies, who are chipped, be registered so that if they are lost they can be located. The pups are sent home with immunization records, of course, but also tips on training, a blankie, and a Lambchop stuffie( nice touch ). The Barmor Facebook page of Barmor puppy owners speaks for itself . What a great group of people! Thank you, Daryl. read more

We got our schnoodle Skye in January 2020. The process was very straightforward and Daryl always responded to any questions I had before and after picking up Skye. The hardest part really was waiting for the day we'd go to pick her up! Skye is a schnoodle - part schnauzer part poodle, but I think she has more of a poodle look. When two breeds are mixed you cannot be guaranteed what the dog will look like. We really love her and she's a great pup to have! Training and housebreaking took time, patience and work but that's expected with any dog. She loves her crate and for any future puppy owners I highly recommend using a crate as it not only helps with potty training but also provides a safe space. Overall I'm very happy with BarMor and I always recommend BarMor and Daryl to others that are considering getting a puppy. read more

I would 1000% recommend Barmor if you are looking for a puppy. From the day I went on the waiting list, and joined the Barmor community, I knew I was getting something special. When you get a Barmor puppy you become a part of a family. You can keep track of the progress of your little ones siblings, half sibling and cousins. It is a wonderful sounding board for any questions you need answered or advice you may need. I absolutely love seeing the pictures of all the puppies. Daryl is a kind man who obviously loves his puppies. I knew the moment I picked up my Georgia, she was well cared for. Daryl goes above and beyond. My Georgia came to us creat trained, knowing her name with a blanket that smells like her litter to ease any anxiety. We greatly appreciate what you have given us. Keep doing what your doing Daryl! read more

I highly recommend Daryl Barrett and the puppies he breeds at BarMor Puppies! Ever the consummate professional, Daryl is truly loving, conscientious, committed, & dedicated to creating the most beautiful, sweet, intelligent pups! We have TWO BarMor cockapoos and they are AWESOME! Both are smart as whips, easily trainable, & have the most endearing personalities! Additionally, Daryl is accessible long after you pick up your pup for any advice you may need along the way. He facilitates a Facebook community where all of us BarMor puppy owners come together to brag, boast, seek help, and share funny tales of our puppy's adventures. Not only will you get the best pup from the most reliable hard working breeder, but you will gain a whole family of friendship & support thanks to Daryl. read more

Daryl is simply the best! We got our cockapoo from Daryl in March 2018 and have loved every single second with our Charlie!! From the waitlist/deposit to the birth of the puppies, Daryl kept us all well informed! Following the delivery, we loved every Facebook post, live video and update we received! When we finally got to pick up our puppy, Daryl was fantastic. Sending us home with food, a guide, 'baby' blanket and toy - which we still have 4.5 years later! We have loved this community since picking up Charlie and can say that if (when) we are in the position for a second puppy, we will 10000% go right back to Daryl! We have had three cockapoos prior to Charlie and found this is the highest quality breed, temperament and ease of a dog. Highly recommend. read more

We adopted Huxley from BarMor puppies in July and our experience couldn't have been better. At the time, the owner, Daryl, was maintaining a waitlist which required a deposit. Less than a day after our inquiry, Daryl responded and explained the process. We made our deposit and as soon as puppies were available for adoption, Daryl contacted us. We made our selection nearly immediately and Daryl confirmed our adoption and pick-up time without hesitation. The communication prior to Huxley's adoption day was excellent. We picked Huxley up at our scheduled time and Daryl had everything ready to go for us. The whole process could not have been easier. As first time puppy parents, we couldn't be happier with Huxley and with BarMor. Thank you Daryl. read more

Nine years ago we purchased our first BarMor puppy from the present owner's mother. When we decided to get a second puppy, we wanted to buy a little closer to home (we are in Vermont) but could not find a breeder that was even close to the quality of BarMor. Daryl is knowledgable, accommodating, and truly cares for his puppies and their humans. In a year that could have overwhelmed any breeder, he not only kept up with numerous emails, he kept his prices lower than anyone else we researched. Even my daughter decided to get a BarMor pup! We are so happy with our fur babies and cannot say enough good things about BarMor and Daryl. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate! read more

Daryl, of BarMor puppies, is an outstanding breeder. His Facebook friends are all parents to Barmor puppies and love and adore their beautiful fur babies and love and adore and appreciate Daryl, the BarMor puppies breeder. Many of us have known Daryl since getting a BarMor pup from him and following him on Facebook. He is fair, honest and transparent and takes great care of the puppies. My daughter and son-in-law's fur baby is smart and adorable and has brought them tremendous joy. If you are thinking of getting a dog, I highly recommend a BarMor Puppy. When we were ready for a puppy in 2016, we did extensive research. Daryl and BarMor exceeded even the stellar recommendations we got from several people that we knew personally who had done business with them for years and years. Daryl was caring, knowledgeable and very flexible in every aspect and made and still makes himself available to answer questions and concerns. BarMor puppies are family raised and cared for and it showed in the easy transition for us and our new puppy when we brought her home. We are senior citizens and have had many dogs over our lifetime. BarMor is the most conscientious and high quality in every aspect, the best in every way. read more

We got our loving little Lucy from Daryl in July 2021 and she has brought us more joy than words can express. Lucy is happy, healthy, smart, sociable with all humans and other dogs, was easily housebroken, and is simply an absolute delight to have as our 4-legged furry family member. We are very thankful to have found Daryl who has not only been professional from the beginning, but is kind enough to still offer advice on food, toys, etc. even after a year of having Lucy. We also love being a part of BarMor's Facebook page where we get to enjoy all the daily occurrences of so many other BarMor pups! read more

Daryl is professional, organized, kind, available for any questions (although most FAQ are clearly explained on his website), and genuinely cares about all of his pack - even the adorable puppies before they go to their forever homes. We recommend him anytime anyone mentions they are thinking about getting a dog! We loved our experience getting Rusty, a cockapoo, from Daryl almost 6 years ago so much, we went back for another cockapoo almost 2 years ago, our forever puppy Mocha. Both dogs are smart, funny, sweet, gentle and have definitely influenced our friends to get their first dog! read more

4-year update! We received Louie, a miniature poodle, from BarMor 4 years ago. I feel compelled to write this review because I think quality breeding shows as the dog ages. Louie is a healthy, personable dog and has been since we got him 4 years ago. We adopted our last dog from people whom purchased a dog from what was later defined as a puppy mill. Needless to say, he was well-loved but sick for most of his life. I so appreciative of Daryl and BarMor's good breeding practices and transparency on Louie's Parental health... everything was documented and sent to us without question. read more

I have had my cockapoo Henry for a year and a half and it has been the best year and a half ever. Henry is the best boy and brings my family so much joy and love. Daryl is so easy to work with and willing to offer advice even years after bringing your pup home from Barmor. Daryl treats each dog as his family and has built an amazing community he truly cares for the dogs and treats them with nothing but love. I have referred many people to Barmor and I will continue to do so as I truly believe Daryl was the best breeder I could have hoped to find. read more

Daryl is not only kind and communicative, you know what you're getting from the day they're born, first shots and pics, through to pickup day and beyond. The BarMor family on Facebook and in central New York and much of the northeast is a group of dog loving, dog worshipping, caring dog owners who adore their BarMor pups. We recommend him to everyone who asks us about our dog Ms Lucky. Turns out, Lucky is the best thing that's ever happened to our family. Thanks Daryl for our beautiful Angel! read more

Darryl Barrett is a reputable and caring business owner. While many breeders raised their rates during the pandemic, he did not. If you doubt the quality of his work, check out his page on Facebook to see the quality of puppies and also the community of support he has built. He is responsive to new puppy questions long after you pick your puppy up. I couldn't imagine a better place to bring home your fur baby from. He'd be 10 star rated if you allowed it. read more

Almost two years ago we picked up our pup from Daryl and the process couldn't have been easier. We are out of state and everything went perfect for our pickup. But, most of all we have the best Schnoodle that we could have ever hoped for. She is the best dog we have ever had. She is smart, gentle, and so beautiful. I would recommend this breeder to anyone. He raised quality pups and couldn't be more helpful in the process. read more
