A lady told me that he "passed out." When I saw him, he was completely unresponsive. I was told to rush him to the ER, but he was already gone, and I had no opportunity to be with him during his final moments. The ER was unable to resuscitate him. I later learned that he had been struggling to breathe. The owner did give me a call that night to gather information, and even offered a donation, but I have not heard back since that day almost 2 months ago. I am still completely devastated. I trusted them with his safety, and I lost my best friend. I'm sharing this so that other pet owners are aware of my experience and can make informed decisions about where to take their pets for care. Interview prospective groomers, ask for their care procedures, make sure you are comfortable with who you allow to handle the lives of your loved ones.
