    One of our Doodles

Took our two doodles to be groomed. The person I checked in with sent a message to the groomer about how we wanted our dogs to be groomed. When we picked them up, they were happy and looked fantastic!!!Thank you so much

    Great nails after the trim!!

I cannot recommend Barks N' Bubbles more! My weimaraner is quite the handful when anyone attempts to cut or trim her nails. At the vet, the technicians have given up every single time I've taken her in and has sent her home multiple times because "she wouldn't let them cut more", and told me to come back a few days later to finish the job. She doesn't bite and is sweet as could be but she is very strong and has quite long legs! I saw some great reviews here about being able to cut other anxious pups nails, so I made an appointment and hoped they would be successful with my pup. HUGE SUCCESS! All four paws were trimmed in no more than 7 minutes! And they use the Dremel instead of clippers, so no sharp edges or trauma! Wow. I was so floored I teared up and got choked up! Even after the manicure, my pup was friendly and sweet with the ladies, and was rewarded with some yummy treats they keep on hand! They were so supportive of my dogs anxiety and I watched them shower her in love and sweetness the whole time even though she was unhappy. They let me stay in the room with her and even let me come also help console my pup while they were doing the front paws. The best part, they said it was NOT abnormal for dogs to hate this process, to be scared or anxious, and were incredibly supportive of me. In the past, vets and vet techs have made me feel awful, like I was the worst mom, shamed me for her long nails or for their inability to cut them. Everyone who knows me, knows I don't love ANYTHING as much as I love my dog. I could not be happier and can't wait to see them in 4 weeks for another puppy manicure! Could not be more thrilled. THANK YOU!

It was my first time getting my dog groomed. I decided Barks n Bubbles based on their great reviews, they definitely lived up to them! My Aussie has very bad anxiety, he doesn't even let the vet tech trim his nails.. and that's with his calming medication and a cheese bribe! The groomer was very nice and friendly, you can tell she's passionate about what she does. My dog doesn't trust most and he let her do an amazing job, I highly recommend them! I was nervous about getting a short cut but it came so out perfect and better than I could imagine. Can't wait to bring my other dog, he doesn't even need a trim but I'm so impressed I'll come for their other services. I know Huxley will be excited to come back!

I could not ask for more in a dog groomer. The team over at Barks and Bubbles are awesome! I have two energetic Brittanys, and they can be quite a handful. Abby and Sarah not only can handle them, they seem to love them! My dogs go crazy when they arrive and they seem to really enjoy being there. They always do a great job and are super affordable - $20 each for wash and nail trimming. (My dogs weigh around 45 lbs each, I think it's more for bigger dogs) They have a nice little shop and add lots of personal little touches like giving the dogs little ribbons if they behave! We won't go anywhere else!

Ask the Community - Barks N' Bubbles

    Do they accept walk ins?

If your dog just needs a bath or toenail trim, they can usually work you in, but for a full grooming, they are usually booked two weeks in advance. Give her a call before you go and she will do her best to accomodate you.

After 2 hours of driving to fix their mistake, the owner Chad refused to apologize, refund, or take accountability and claimed a quick 20-minute brush counted as the full service deshedding. Details: We scheduled a deshedding appointment for our dog the week of the 9th for Friday afternoon. At pickup, I noticed my dog was not fully dry, and the total charge was $55 instead of the $70 we previously paid for a deshedding service. When I asked Eric about the price difference, he assured me the deshedding had been completed and that the groomer simply adjusted the price because my dog was not shedding as much. Later that evening, my dog was shedding more than before the appointment. The following morning (Saturday the 14th), I contacted the owner, Chad, who apologized and asked us to return Tuesday or Wednesday after 5 p.m. so he could correct the issue personally. We drove from Mount Pleasant (30 minutes each way) on Tuesday, but Chad was not present. Eric took our dog back for approximately 20 minutes and later acknowledged that the deshedding service had not been performed. He showed us the amount of hair removed and stated he would inform Chad so the situation could be made right. After not hearing back for several days, we contacted Island Pet again regarding a resolution, including the time spent driving to correct the mistake. During that conversation, Chad was defensive, raised his voice, and stated there would be no refund, credit, or further resolution. He claimed the 20-minute brushing session qualified as a deshedding service, defining it as de-shed shampoo, time to sit, followed by blow drying and brushing. However, that full process was not performed during the original appointment. We booked and expected a deshedding service but were instead charged for a basic wash, plus tip, and spent two additional hours driving.

3.5 stars. They responded promptly and fit my two dogs in. I asked for both of them to get a bath,…read morenails clipped and for my husky mix Fritz, to get a deshedding brush. I was impressed with the place. It was clean. It looked nice. I saw a happy customer coming and going. I think the pricing was fair. Couple of things, though that didn't exactly work. They called me and told me the dogs were done and that I could come pick them up at any time about an hour and a half after I dropped them off. OK I'm thinking that's a short time for two dogs. I came to pick them up about 15 minutes later - Not ready. I waited 15 minutes at the front desk, no one was there. I waited another 10 minutes and the manager came out. once I told them who I was before they went and got my Fritz, he looked great. Sophie wasn't ready. They tried to bring her she's a small Maltese . The person at the front desk stopped. Made them take her back. Now it's 35 minutes I've been waiting and I take them and I put them in the car and Sophie's clean, but her face is dirty - Fritz looks great. Sophie looks like she dried wet after rain. They probably forgot I had two dogs. They let me know when Fritz was almost done so I could come get him and they likely forgot my Maltese. I brought her home - I washed her face and cleaned her up. All this would be just a bad day for them, I could be more clear next time. Except one thing - they forgot to give me her leash and I texted them. I asked for the leash and why her face was dirty. No response.
