Stopped in for dinner to wait for funicular to open (closed for a run up the tracks by a bunch of crazy Norwegians according to the ticket agent!).
Comfortable atmosphere. 7:15 PM--few customers. Short menu. Interesting. Prices are not as high as on the waterfront it seems. My blue cheese burger w/mushrooms is NOK 179. Chicken Caesar for my wife, NOK 129.
Service was quick as was the kitchen.
Quality--so so honestly. Burger good size probably 5-6 Oz. But if I order blue cheese I expect more than 2 bites to taste of the cheese. This is a messy sandwich as well. Be ready to lean in to protect your shirt.
Caesar was adequate. Nice portion of chicken. No anchovy taste, which was not a problem unless looking for it.
Time now 8:05, (we lingered talking) and business has picked up.
So all-in-all I'd say average experience. read more
