I feel that it's unfair to not share my experience with others so they can make their own choices. I had 2 dogs and one was a very selective dog, meaning he didn't get along with all dogs he met. Miranda was referred to us by a friend whose dog had similar issues. When we met Miranda to see her facility, I asked her if she would be cresting the dogs when she left the building. (I asked this for a reason) she told me that if they were not crated at home, she would not crate them and they could just stay in her living space. It turns out that Miranda was crating my dogs together when she left them and that is ultimately what led to my dogs death. My selective dog could not be crated with any other dogs. If he was and anything triggered him, he would redirect onto another dog in his crate, even his brother and they would fight. This happened so Miranda came home and found that my dogs had a fight in their crate. She took the selective dog, Carson out to bathe him and ultimately left him unattended in the sink, tethered to the wall. He then tried to jump out of the sink and you can imagine the rest. We left for the weekend with 2 dogs and came back having only one.

Marcellus is his normal self no nicks on his little chunky body at all and he looks great! Reasonable prices I'd say especially when you know your cat is capable of biting. The wait wasn't long at all we dropped off went to do some errands and when we got a call about two hours later to pick up which was perfect timing. I am so grateful that they are in Hyde Park and a local business. A few things I've noticed: 1) I get updates with photos and a narrative for every visit. I usually schedule 2 visits every day that I'm gone. 2) No matter which employee visits, I understand from the narrative report that they have read the instructions, and the comments that I've left. For example, this summer, the temperature reached 100 degrees outside, but I had forgotten to turn on the A/C. After leaving a comment to ask that it be put on energy save an set to 72, the next sitter did just that, and sent me photos to verify the settings. This put me completely at ease while being away during a dangerous heatwave. 3) My cats need medication and a special feeding schedule; my instructions are followed and this also helps me feel at ease that the kitties are fine for extended absences. 4) If I need to extend my trip, the online scheduling system is easy to update and I know that I won't have to scramble to find an alternative. The onboarding process if you are a new client is not something that can be done at the last minute; I signed up before I knew I would have a trip planned, but then once the consult was done, it has been completely a breeze to sign up for vacation house sitting appointments. I have been and continue to be very pleased with the services, care, and convenience of Hyde Park Bark!

Elizabeth clearly knows her stuff, and took time to make sure we felt comfortable with a really helpful packet of information for us along with a short meet and greet visit at her home where our dog would be staying. Throughout the visit, Elizabeth kept us updated with texts, short videos and photos. When we picked up our dog, he was so happy and exhausted - almost like what you'd expect picking up a kid from sleep away camp. Later that evening I noticed a breakout on her back. When I took Bella to the veterinary I was told it was a staph infection. I informed So Fetch and was told this did not occur at her shop.
