We just moved to the area and sent our dogs to All Tails for the first time this week. It's some…read moreof the little things they do that make this a place we'll keep coming back to. Things like a fenced in parking lot so in the event a leash slips you are worried about your pet running into the road. We've had to purchase different collars in the past to take them to daycare, at All Tails they already have you covered. Check in and pick up are a breeze. And most importantly they keep the environment safe for your pets! The products of all of that are peace of mind for us and tired pointers when they come home!

My issue was on the last visit, the groomer shaved my dog way too close on his private area. This caused a razor burn which he then licked and irritated to the point he couldn't sleep or sit comfortably. I ended up spending $300 in emergency medvet care (visit, cone, topical spray, oral medicine) and when I called to explain so they might update their procedures and not shave so close I was rudely told, Well, you signed the shave policy form. No compassion; didn't even ask if he was okay. We won't be back and I wouldn't trust them with any animal.

It's a better facility than some. The process is very easy. Make an appointment. If you need weekend service, plan your appointment weeks in advance. Usually you get a confirmation call before your day. Easy drop off, provided you had your vet send over all the required proof of vaccinations. Please be specific in how you want them groomed. Don't cry fault if you didn't tell the groomer first. I've had the fur on ears, bangs and tails trimmed a bit shorter during pick up without a fuss. You get a call that your pet is ready for pick up. Bandanas or bows usually adorn your clean pet. Credit cards or cash accepted. Yelp check-in offer is a nice bonus. Add on toys and treats are for sale in the lobby. I have used the self serve pet washing area in the back. Call ahead to find out what good times are. They really try and deter you from using the area that the groomer needs to wash a clients dog at the same time. Off peak times are best. I found it a good value, and much easier on your back than leaning over a tub or kiddie pool. Harness setup. Shampoo choices. Comfy no slip mat for your pet to stand on. Fluffy clean towels, or blow dry is available. I should use this self serve more often(#Lazy).

I was able to get my doodle scheduled for every 6 week grooms in May 2024 after being on a waiting list. I was so thrilled with this business because it made grooms so convenient for us & my pup was SO much happier than being dropped off at a groomer. It was truly the best of both worlds! I always received compliments on how well my pup did during the grooming sessions & his cuts were always PERFECT!! In December 2024, I received a phone call from the owner around 2 weeks after his scheduled groom. The owner informed me they would no longer be able to groom my pup because of his size. When I signed my pup up for grooms, he was around 55lbs and now he's around 65lbs. I understand they do have a 50lb weight limit and was informed they allowed it at first but now he is just too big. They also noted his height, which he is a pretty tall boy. While I completely understand their concern, I am just extremely upset it became an issue over 6 months after the grooms started. His height didn't change much, he just filled out through his body. The main reason I am upset is due to the lack of notice. As a mobile grooming business, they are well aware there is typically a waitlist for these services. While I did get my pup on a waitlist shortly after I was informed of this, he is still on a waitlist for another business. It is now the time for his every 6 week groom & I have no idea when he will be able to get into the new place. I truly wish I would've received more notice for this, even letting me know after his NEXT groom, they would no longer be able to groom him. The owner & groomer are very nice & friendly BUT I do wish this situation was handled differently.

I know this is sometimes unavoidable with squirming and skittish little dogs, but you guys are incredibly good at avoiding these little nicks on her. Since then he doesn't even let my family and I brush him or bathe him. Because of this if we wait too long to take him to Lynn he sometimes has mats in his hair :( While most groomers would just shave off his mats, Lynn takes the time to brush them out and make him look beautiful and fluffy! Gravy and Taters are always extremely happy and calm when we pick them up, Lynn is a magic worker being able to groom Gravy and I'm so thankful we have her.

They took her back for a…read more5 minute nail trim and she came out with 5+ inches just cut off the top of her hair and a bow to hide the bad cut that wasn't asked for. Now instead of having the pony cut which is traditional for the breed, she basically has a mullet. I don't know what would lead this to happen, I do see shitzus with similar cuts, but if you're going to be grooming dogs I would have some expectation that a groomer would at least know the standard hair cuts for different breeds (even exotic ones). Can't believe I came in for a nail trim and left with a cut that will take 6-9 months to grow out.

LOL so needless say the last couple days have been a whirlwind of emotion. I wasnt sure what questions to ask and Karen made me feel like we had known each other for years! She reassured me what I needed to do and what I did not need to do. I also felt like she is a very honest person. My second puppy didn't need any grooming but around the eyes she didn't try to sell me on a second groom and while I was there getting my first puppy groomed she just came over and trimmed the second puppy's face for free.
