I had taken in an abandoned dog, a pitbull mix, who was young but adult size and 56 pounds. He was not fixed so had scheduled him for neutering, but it would take some time. It was fine, I could not spend time with him because he was attracted to my leg, to take him out in the backyard was off could do. He was well behaved. However, the backyard neighbors have been away with their dogs in the head come back on a Saturday. Starting Saturday night, after being in the backyard when the other dogs were backyard, he started really hyper. And Sunday he just won't be berserk, he somehow got out of a closed door room, he had scratched the door had put a hole in the wall. He chased after my cats, and he was going on the tables and I just couldn't control him. I called different places, thinking I had to get rid of them right away for my cats. It was a Sunday night so I had no luck. Until I called North Florida K9 Behavior Center and luckily, he answered the phone. He was a godsend. He calmed me down because I was hysterical. Gave me great information about neutering and what to expect after you neuters. He also gave me a lot of great psychological canine behavior, tips and information explain so much he helped me get a plan together, which I was too hysterical otherwise to have done without him. It set a plan to put Teddy in the garage with the cage, and to keep him away from the cats, meaning I would take him directly from the garage, the backyard and not to the house. he called me down enough to realize that the neutering process would help a lot, and that it was OK to keep him in the garage for now for his safety safety of my cats and my sanity. I literally don't know what I would have done without him. Teddy is still waiting neutering so after Teddy has that procedure, and finishes his vaccine boosters, our plan to call him again. You can't go wrong with a person who's so understanding, so calm, know so much about any more behavior and psychology, someone who takes the time out of their off time to help deal with a hysterical person, which she did not have to do. I highly recommend his services.

There's always a little room to grow or improve. Their communication is not the best. We text and just don't get a response back and if they have a change in how they run things we find out after dropping them. We've had to recently after dropping them off, go to get a bag of food. They switched to needing to bring your own since we have small dogs and the food they provide is huge. But honestly, we feel confident and at ease leaving our dogs in their care. Our trainer Macayla has checked in with us frequently to see how things are going, answering questions and has provided several post training sessions to ensure we are comfortable and continuing his training. He saw our toddler as a fellow pup, and before his camp at Unleash Fido we were dealing with constant nipping, tearing clothes, chasing, jumping, chewing, difficulty house training, and general lawlessness. Then he went to Puppy Camp at Unleash Fido and worked with Brittni. He came home a truly different and wonderful dog. he was in control of his body and his actions. He obeyed commands and was house trained. Best of all, though, we saw his true personality emerge from underneath the chaos - we got to make friends with the sweet, personable, loyal dog he is. We are grateful for Brittni and Unleash Fido for giving us the dog we always wanted. Teddy is much happier now, and so are we.

I am extremely disappointed and upset with the grooming services my two dogs received at PetSmart…read more This was by far the worst grooming experience I have ever encountered at this company. From the moment we arrived, the groomer's customer service was terrible. She was neither welcoming nor friendly, and her demeanor made it seem as though she did not want to provide services to our dogs. Instead of making us feel comfortable, she appeared to be discouraging us from moving forward with their grooming appointments. We were informed that our dogs had some matting, and the groomer stated that she would try to save as much of their coats as possible but might have to do a military-style cut if necessary. However, that is not what I witnessed. She went straight to shaving my Standard Poodle without first bathing her or making any visible attempt to comb through or save her coat. Within approximately five minutes, a significant amount of her hair had already been shaved off. Both of my dogs ended up being shaved nearly bald. I understand that matting can sometimes require shaving for an animal's safety and comfort, but my concern is the apparent lack of effort to explore other options after we were told an attempt would be made to preserve their coats. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I was charged additional dematting fees of $20 for one dog and $10 for the other, despite witnessing no attempt to demat their coats before shaving them. I was also charged a $30 late fee for arriving approximately 20 minutes late. Between the grooming services and additional charges, I paid a substantial amount of money for an experience that left me completely dissatisfied. I chose not to confront the groomer at that moment because I was extremely upset, and by then, much of the damage to their coats had already been done. As a customer, I expect professionalism, compassion, honest communication, and quality service when trusting someone with my pets. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below those expectations. I strongly believe PetSmart management needs to address both the customer service and grooming practices at this location. The groomer's attitude and handling of this appointment were not a positive representation of the company. I would not recommend this grooming experience to other pet owners, and I sincerely hope PetSmart takes this complaint seriously. Our pets deserve better, and so do paying customers.
