Happy boy after a great cut and loving up by Kelly.

Today was our first grooming visit. I can't tell you how difficult it is to go to a new groomer after a bad experience at a different place- Kelly was fabulous! I also have to note that Kelly was finished with a full wonderful groom of Bear in 2 hours less time than our previous grooming place! She's really quite fabulous! I can tell she really loves the dogs and she really deserves extra tips for her work!!!

Not only do I absolutely love it here my dog does too! She's the biggest star from the moment she walks in to the minute I pick her up. The staff even greets her by name when we walk in! Everyone there is so kind and you can tell actually cares about the animals--a very important factor to me as this is my family we're talking about. The $25ish price rag for a day of daycare is worth it. My dog comes home exhausted and happy and very well cared for. I wouldn't go anywhere else for our boarding needs!

I've been taking my 7 month old boxer here for about 1 month now and it's been a great experience. She goes to doggie daycare twice a week from 7am to 5pm while I work. It costs $24 per day and is WELL WORTH IT. If you have a active dog or hyper puppy, I strongly recommend doggie daycare. My girl is exhausted and ready to snuggle by the time I pick her up! She is a much better dog since going to Bark Avenue. Most mornings she is greeted by name by staff members. I feel like they really know her and are excited to see her arrive. I don't have any concerns for her safety or that she isn't being well cared for. Another great perk is that they have a large glass window that you can watch the dogs play through. Staff always appears super engaged and keeping an eye on everyone to be sure they play nice. Today I walked in to pick up my dog on one of the staff members was sitting in the floor with a literal dog pile sleeping on top of her! Dogs are great judges of character and they clearly felt comfortable and trusted the caregiver. There are only a few reasons I didn't give this place 5 stars. The first one is that my first day there wasn't informative and I'm still unsure about the schedule, set up, and what all goes on during the day. My puppies nails often appear clipped but, they never told me that was part of the daycare experience. It's a great service and I just feel they should play up all their extras! There was also a girl early on who didn't seem like she cared to be there and was much less friendly than the other staff members. I haven't seen her in a while so maybe they realized the front end wasn't her strong suit. The other thing I would love to see (that several competitors offer) is puppy cams. I would love to watch the puppies play for a little pick me up during a ruff (ha) work day! Overall, a great place. I am completely in love with the report cards I receive. I attached a few to share! The are so sweet and always make my day!

Kelly does a wonderful job with my 3 dogs who all need regular grooming. The dogs seem to enjoy the daycare aspect of Bark Avenue after their grooming as well. I think they take great care of my 3 fur babies. Front staff is extremely helpful and kind.

My dog goes there for Doggy Daycare, and it's incredible! The staff is super friendly and takes the time to know you and your dog. The first day of daycare is free, which is awesome for a trial. My dog gets a workout - by the time I pick him up after work, he's ready for bed! They also send out a "report card" after every visit, showing you pictures, telling you their demeanor throughout the day, and who their friends were for the day! So worth it.

They give great report cards of the dogs behavior during their stay and offer add on baths so they are nice and clean upon return.

I'm not sure why all the reviews for this PetSmart are so terrible because I have only high praises…read morefor this location and the staff. Thankfully these reviews have not deterred people from coming here because they are always busy. The services I've used so far are: 1) Grooming- They have great groomers and they always take good care of my pup who is 3.5 pounds and can get squirmish when he gets his nails trimmed. I tried to do it myself and it was too difficult so I appreciate their staff doing it for me. They also were able to accommodate by request for a no scent shampoo for my pups bath. The yappy hours they offer at $5 off are the best! 2) Pet Training- Allison is a fantastic trainer. She taught the 6 week puppy class and she was so friendly, patient and understanding. My schedule made it difficult to attend all 6 sessions and she was so accommodating to reschedule us into a session so that we could continue the lessons without major disruption. The training also affords my pup extra opportunities to socialize and the extra distractions from the other pups help to put my dog in more of a real world environment where he has to learn to listen to me with distractions. In the puppy/beginner class we learned verbal and hand signal cues for: sit, focus, touch, click to calm, loose leash walk (lets go, this way), down (lay down), shake (or paw), sit-down-sit, sit-touch-halter, leave it, wait, come when called, greet when all feet are on the ground, and much more. The other trainer Lisa is super nice and always willing to give me feedback on how my pup did during the day at day care. 3) Petshotel- I needed to board my pup for 11 days. I called ahead of time to make sure I had all the required vaccinations before his stay. I like that they require vaccination of all the dogs that stay here. The staff here did a fantastic job with taking care of my pup. I was able to get photos of him during his stay since he was staying such a long time. One of the photos was nicely photographed and even displayed his name. I loved it so much I got it developed so I could post it on my wall. My pup never got kennel cough or any other viruses from staying at Petshotel I felt my dog was better behaved after his Petshotel stay because he was better socialized (with people), exhausted (from all the fun), and stopped his constant whining (which really bothered me but I couldn't figure out how to stop it). I would not hesitate to bring him to Petshotel again. 4) Doggie Day Camp- I was worried my dog was not getting enough socialization with people and other dogs. I didn't want him turning into a lap dog and have separation anxiety issues so I enrolled him in day camp. Again, I am glad that dogs that play here must be vaccinated. Day camp was one of the best decisions I've made because my dog is now really confident and isn't scared of other dogs. The staff here went out of their way to watch over my dog on his first day to make sure he adjusted well to the other dogs. He is not only a small breed dog but was the runt of his litter (at 3.5 pounds) and staff went above and beyond to ensure my pup had a good experience with the other small breed dogs. My pup excelled from this experience and had so much fun. He came back exhausted and more well mannered (in my opinion). I like how they can feed him lunch (with my food from home) while he is at camp so he is not starving throughout the day. I also really appreciate the late hours the day camp stays open so I don't need to rush over after work.

Fine to get food and supplies at, but the grooming services are really hit or miss. Sometimes…read moreyou'll get a really nice job, and other times you'll get an angry, still wet cat.
