Thankfully, he was staying at Puppy Haven. The staff noticed right away that something wasn't right. They called me immediately, stayed calm, explained what they were seeing, and reassured me that they were taking action. They quickly transported him to a local urgent care vet they knew and trusted (who was also amazing). What really blew me away was what happened next. An employee stayed with him at the vet to hear the diagnosis, learned that he needed to be transferred to an emergency hospital for surgery, and then personally took him there as well. Since then, they've checked in multiple times to see how he's doing. It was honestly a pretty awful situation, but Puppy Haven made it so much better. Their attentiveness, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond for one of their dogs is something I'll never forget. We are incredibly grateful and thankful to have a place where we can leave our pups and truly not have to worry. If you're looking for a daycare or boarding facility that genuinely cares about your dogs, Puppy Haven is it.

Joy Johnson and Home Sweet Home Pet Care have been in business for over 25 years. And during that…read moretime have provided extremely excellent care and pampering to numerous dogs and cats; and even some ferrets, fish, birds, rabbits and other various pets. Now, in the interest of full disclosure, let me say that Joy is my best friend. I first came to know her as a neighbor and the lady I hired to take care of my cat and then later my dog. Over the years I have watched her business grow and, on a few occasions, have helped her out with caring for the pets she was watching over. In that time I have come to appreciate the compassion and the competence she displays in caring for the pets entrusted to her care; and the integrity and honesty with which she conducts herself with her clients. Although I no longer have any pets and no longer live within Joy's service area, I am still aware of the quality of care and concern with which she conducts her business and the respect, confidence, and loyalty of her customers. I know of no other service of any kind that I hold in as high regard as I do of Home Sweet Home Pet Care. Anyone who engages her to care for their pets and to be in their home when they are away can do so with the utmost confidence that their home and precious pets will be cared for in the most professional, attentive, and caring manner possible
