When my furbaby broke her little toe just before New Year's, I was a wreck. But Rose Animal Hospital East Cobb location came through in a pinch! They got her in for a sick visit and got her splint done in less than a week. They have excellent customer service (and actually pick up the phone!) and a really cool Disney-themed office. My dog loves coming here (as it doesn't have the gross "vet" smell) and seeing all the smiling and welcoming faces. Bonus: They even have Disney instrumental music in the waiting room. What more could you ask for?

    Sympathy notes for Skitter

Rose Animal has always provided great care to our cats. They outdid themselves this month. We were away for Thanksgiving when the cat sitter found our 20+ year old cat Skin poor condition- she apparently had a stroke overnight and couldn't walk and impaired vision. The cat sitter brought her to Rose. She lived a full life (97 years old in people years) and wasn't improving, so we had her put down. The folks at Rose were so nice, they even FaceTimed Skitter with my wife so she could say goodbye, and Skitter purred. In the mail today was a sympathy card signed by everyone at the hospital alone with her nose an face prints. What a wonderful and thoughtful gesture!

I appreciate a vet who only cares for what my pet NEEDS. The staff does not try to sell products to you! They consistently give my boys the quality care they need, and vet appointments are easy for us because of that! My dogs actually enjoy coming to the vet because of Rose Animal hospital's nurturing and loving staff. Overall I couldn't be happier with their staff and mission.

Recently moved to Alpharetta and had gone to a different vet at first but had the worst experience there, so we immediately switched to Rose after reading all the amazing reviews on google and yelp. We went because my dog had red eyes and was scratching at it so we wanted to check it out and make sure it wasn't anything serious. The whole process was just great - they called my the previous vets to get Koby's records before the appointment. The Covid process was also quick and reliable. The tech came to get her from the car, the doctor was super communicative the entire time to tell us what she will be doing, and then again for the the diagnosis and treatment plan. Everyone was super helpful and sweet and very informative about what is going on. They really care, and it shows! Our previous vet didn't even bother to read her charts and kept misgendering my baby. But everyone at Rose was very knowledgeable and caring - knowing Koby's records, knowing her gender, making sure she wasn't too scared. The doctor even followed up on a previous issue from two months ago that I had forgotten about due to moving and everything - her bladder stones. We got the xrays done as well and luckily it had cleared out from her special prescription diet. It's really the little things that really matter, especially for busy dog parents. The prices were great as well. My sister had actually taken her dog to her vet for the same exact problem and they charged her almost $200 for everything (double the cost for Koby's diagnosis and treatment here)! Needless to say, my sister will be switching her vet to Rose after my recommendation.

First, my old lady terrier mix had an ear infection that my typical treatment of ear cleaning could not resolve, so I brought her in for professional care. A few weeks later, my heart dog had developed a nasty case of the itchies on his underside, so I brought him in for some relief. I saw a different doctor on each visit but both were great in their own way. I felt like my pups were in good hands the whole time. I followed each doctor's recommendations for my babies and their issues cleared up almost instantly. I really like that they have an online account where I can request appointments or review my pets' histories and treatments. I also love how friendly and helpful everyone on staff is. Not only did they make me feel comfortable, but they eased my old girl's nerves and much to my surprise, let my heart dog, Rex, put his guard down. I normally have to keep a muzzle on him when outside of the house because he can be unpredictable and I worry that he might get nippy with a vet, especially a new one. That was not the case here at all. Rex was on his best behavior and seemed to even enjoy his visit, which is a first for him. He was so relaxed that I took his muzzle off just before they were going to give him a shot. I worried that he might react negatively to the shot but he took it like a champ and loved the attention he got from staff. He was in such a good mood, that I snapped a pic of him in the exam room and I swear he was so happy, he looked like he was smiling! I like Paw Patch Animal Clinic, which is where I had first taken Rex when I moved from Miami, but I switched to CAC because it was closer to my house and I am glad I did since my baby really likes it there. I was provided with an estimate ahead of time and given an opportunity to accept or decline the vet's recommendations. Neither visit was particularly cheap (nothing really is these days), but I felt like the costs were reasonable considering the quality of service provided. CAC will definitely be my preferred vet from now on and I am happy to offer this enthusiastic recommendation on their behalf!

Unfortunately, there is a vet there now that does not treat people as they should be treated. He did not speak to me(f) or look me in the eye, he only spoke to my male(m) companion. When I was emotional about the content of the visit, he was visibly uncomfortable with my tears and left the room. He did not return. He is racist, misogynistic and sexist. I will not allow him to treat my animal ever again. It was gross.

They asked me to bring her in, and they always bring her out of view, even for an exam which I found odd. But this time, she came back into the room fully traumatized. The vet had pulled a few top stitches and mentioned a staple. All I know is I could not get near that area without her freaking out when we left. Also, he was concerned she might have a deep infection and told me that we needed to get a culture. He also wanted me to buy topical antibiotics for her incision. He walks out and the medical tech walks in and tells me that's going to be $200 for a culture. First of all, she's not running a fever, there was no significant redness in that area, nor pus just weeping, and no additional swelling from that time I took her home from being spade. Being medical, I definitely questioned this culture and decided to hold off until four days later when I would be coming back to have the rest of the stitches removed on top of knowing that I was using a topical antibiotic in the interim. The female vet that I saw for follow up was very kind and informed me that my dog was having a type of allergic reaction or sensitivity to that particular suture material. That made a lot of sense to me and actually once the sutures removed, she healed up beautifully. So i not has my medical background I would've unnecessarily spent an extra $200. I'm also quite shocked. He did not recognize what she immediately told me. Also, the medication that cost over $30 was pumped into a medication bottle. So they have this big bottle in the back that they're just pumping into a bottle and then way upcharging. Nice. Fast forward to today. My dog ate something she shouldn't have and I tried to get it out of her mouth but she ate it before I could get to it. I called the vet and they told me that's emergent and could I be there in 30 minutes. I said I would call right back. I called back and said it was going to be, about 35 minutes to get there and that would put me there about 530, and they close at six. They told me that that was too late. I said you guys told me this is an emergency, and you're refusing to see her? Wow, amazing care! He didn't even apologize or show great concern. I thankfully found a vet MUCH closer to my house and they were amazing. Shame on this place for trying to overcharge for things they shouldn't, for trying tomaking negligent charges, and as far as care here? What a joke! I will never step foot in this place again and my friend who referred me is also leaving after hearing what I had to say. Too many options to settle for this!
