I found these motherless bunnies in my yard and brought them over to Kent. Dr. Danaceau took them in and is hand feeding them. What a caring facility.

Bunny owner review:…read more I can't say enough for this practice and Dr. Wilson. We had some terrible mismanagement and medical advice from another clinic in Woodstock. In despair, we we began reaching out to friends who are educators with the HRS and their friends of friends, and through that we were referred to this practice and had two separate individuals refer both Dr. Wilson and Dr. Oguni of the vet clinic west. We called the practice, and told them of our sensitive situation, the conflicting advise we had been given from another practice. They were so attentive of our needs and concerns and were able to see us in a timely manner on such short notice. We've had two appointments back to back now with Dr. Wilson, and he, his staff and the practice as a whole is a breath of fresh air, especially as a bunny owner. The staff knows how to properly hold the rabbit, and in a calm manner. Dr. Wilson is extremely knowledgeable and thorough with his consulting, and leaves little room for you to be confused or not understanding. His smarts are equalled with compassion, too which goes a long way in this field, I believe. We are feeling so confident, and please me with this practice, that we are bringing our other bunny in for a checkup, as well as bringing our cats in to be their primary practice. Thank you so much to the entire staff for your hospitality, excellent customer service and accommodations.

I am so happy with my experience here…read more My dog had an unusual wound on her behind that she was licking. I was extremely concerned because it looked like a potential spider bite. I called my vets office (not Windy Hill's office) to ask for an emergency appointment. They could not take us even though we've been going there for a couple of years, and I was really frightened. I called around to multiple vet clinics, and Windy Hill was the only location that would see my dog as a same day appointment (I also discovered shortly after that one of my friends uses Windy Hill and highly recommended them). Windy Hill's employees were so friendly, understanding, and efficient. They let us know that my dog's anal gland had ruptured (!!!) and so they treated her and prescribed her meds. I am happy with the service, promptness, and cost of the visit. I will be using Windy Hill's Vet Hospital from here on out for my pets. Thank you guys so much for your help :) I am happy and so is my puppy!

Sickly but sweet. Sweet in a southern way if you know what I mean. On Wednesday Sir took ill and I had to find care for him immediately. I saw 3 different vets because Dr. Ponce was not available in our crisis. Unfortunately Sir passed away on Friday. My wife and I were having a conversation this morning about how important having a good veterinarian is. Somebody who is knowledgeable and who builds a relationship with you and your pet. Someone who cares and is considerate. Ethan you are the best, your hair is beautiful and words cannot describe how much we appreciate you. Dr. Ponce thank you for taking care of my family you are really wonderful. Love always The Jacksons

The vet tech went back and a conversation occurred with Dr. Day. She did not want to "get in the middle of" a lost dog and the dog should go to the pound. All of these conversations occurred in the back but I could hear all of the commentary clear as day. I informed the vet tech that posters had been posted (physical and e-postings), the Cobb county pound had been notified, and I just wanted to make sure the dog was healthy while we continued to look for the owner. Another back room conversation occurred and I finally opened the door to inform the group that I could hear them. If they did not want to provide services I can find another vet. I was just trying to do the right thing by the dog. I felt so uncomfortable and judged by Dr Day for being a descent human being. It's funny because we usually go to Powers Ferry Animal Hospital but I'm searching for a closer vet since we just moved to the area. They not only lost my business with this dog but also with two other pets as well. Do better and know that people can hear you and your words and opinions matter.

I noticed also the friendly way the other customers interacted with some of the staff. The slight let-down was that I was not greeted by the receptionists immediately on entering and I think they need to realize that you only have a few seconds to make a really good and lasting impression - so as busy as you may be - make it count. I cannot sing the praised of the vet I saw and her assistants Dr. Jan Egins has a lovely soothing voice, really cares about the animal and takes her time to really do diagnosis, explain options and offer solid advice. She is clearly knowledgeable, but goes beyond to offer a service which is personalized for your pet and is patient with owners. Dr. Egins listened attentively to my explanation of my pet's symptoms and took notes, asked questions and didn't just dive in. The assistants were also excellent - they didn't manhandle my pet, but treated it lovingly, with respect and once the exam was over allowed the pet to roam and not feel hemmed in. I am truly thrilled and blessed with this service. The pricing was also affordable. My pet wasn't given unnecessary tests - but given a reasonable plan of action and solid advice. The practice is also well managed, clean and has what looks like state of the art equipment (e.g they could do blood work and an x-ray- on site if needed). As I left, I think again that the particular receptionist who saw me could have been a bit more personable - for instance - ask about the pet and give a break-down of the bill that is nice and also professional. Other than that the good far out weighted that snag! Highly recommended!

I unfortunately cannot recommend this vet based on our experience with our dog, Titan…read more Titan was extremely uncomfortable, nervous, and distressed during our following up visits after the initial visit. He has been to other vets throughout his life and has never behaved this way, which makes us believe that something about this experience was particularly frightening and emotionally painful for him. One of my biggest concerns is that the staff take dogs into a back room where owners cannot see what is happening. This is where Titan's behavior changed, and as a pet owner, it was extremely upsetting not knowing what was happening to him. I strongly believe owners should have greater visibility into their dog's care, particularly when their pet is clearly frightened. I was also concerned by what felt like a push toward multiple additional and potentially unnecessary services. Titan has always been a healthy dog, yet we were encouraged to have tests sent to outside specialists at significant additional expense. While I understand that veterinarians need to recommend appropriate testing when medically necessary, the number and cost of the recommendations left us questioning whether everything being suggested was truly necessary. Most importantly, Titan was terrified, and that is simply not acceptable to us. A veterinary visit should be stressful at times, but seeing a dog who has never behaved this way become so frightened was heartbreaking. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this vet to other dog owners. The emotional distress Titan experienced alone was enough to make us decide that we will not be returning.
