I made my appointment online; Kellys' self-bio sounded just right, made an appt for same day. Walking in, wasnt sure which barber/stylist was Kelly; so I just had a seat. I was asked 'do you want a beer?' by the one that turned out to be NOT Kelly, deciding to maintain my 6 yr sobriety I politely declined. The shop is delightfully decorated with art and novelty kitsch. Eventually, Kelly yelled my name, and I got to have a seat in one of their super old antique barbers chairs. Kelly did a great job assessing my vaguely stated needs :) Good conversation, did a very nice senior cut for me, wife was impressed, so yes, I recommend and will be back!

While we sat in a very comfortable waiting room we were taken aback at how efficiently he faded my freind up. After the haircut we left and I realized I had left my my shorts and wallet behind. He literally destroyed my boyfriend's hair to the point we had to shave him skin bald to "fix" what barber Bob did to him. He also shaved my boyfriend's eyebrow as well. I am a licensed professional in this industry and also do hair, and I'm shocked. This is worse than what a barber student's first haircut would look like. Do not go to this man - he should not be working. Let alone allowed to have a license. I understand he is a very nice man, but the fact that he charged my boyfriend and let him leave like that ...let alone is cutting people in unsafe conditions such as post brain surgery ...is unacceptable and something I would never do as a professional.
