It was nearly 90º out and thankfully John arrived within an hour of my call. He even let me know when he was on his way and what his ETA would be. He worked quickly and diligently to unlock the front door without damaging it, despite the fact that it is nearly 100 years old! The inside door was another story! The lock had been changed before I moved in and whoever installed it did it in a non-standard manner. John had the expertise and patience to get the lock open and it was impressive to watch him try different methods. He actually re-installed the lock properly without my even asking. The Bad part: They did not show up on the day we agreed on. They did not even contact me to say…read morethey weren't coming. When I contacted them, they had my residential repairs confused with some commercial repair. They even sent over the write-up for the repairs theyd done on another job site (not my info). Then the kicker, I was told they had no more workers and couldn't do the job for another 3-4wks. The good part: They did come out same day to give quote for some rim joist repair and door install. They were communicative in some traffic delays coming out. They gave me the perfect price and perfect timing for work to be done. Final review: I was all about these guys, but seems like they're no better than the rest of the contractors around Detroit.

He will ONLy start a project with you after everything is on paper and the prices are clear and there is agreement from the client. In my case, he started with installing a screen door and then he moved on to several other projects such as fixing and painting an entire living room ceiling, painting my deck and stairs, installing blinds in 2 different rooms, fixing closet doors and a door leading to my porch. Diamant will keep you informed of all that he does as he is doing it. He is very fair with pricing and will communicate effectively any changes from whatever original plan you agree to with him. He offers competitive prices and completes jobs in a timely fashion. He is a very trustworthy worker. For the several projects I had in my home, Diamant even drove himself to stores to get the materials he needed and presented me with receipts. I highly recommend him for any project in your home as he is a very capable of competing any project you may have. I particularly appreciated that he came to my home to provide me with an estimate of what I needed prior to starting work.
