Barebottle has become such a staple for me-- particularly the Menlo Park location. I always find that the service here is extremely friendly and helpful. It's nice to hear in-depth about their brews and get real recommendations. Brews themselves are delicious. I typically lean towards lighter beers, but even their stouts are awesome. I do find a bit more selection of food at this location vs Santa Clara, having really enjoyed the pizzas they offer here. Parking in this area can be a bit difficult, I recommend parking towards the CalTrain station and walking over. One star off for price, as this is a pricier experience. However, the ambiance, indoor/outdoor seating, and great service make this a safe bet whenever I'm looking for a fun place to take friends.

Great ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of games and beer sections on tap were good! Haven't tried the food but will definitely be back. Great place to check out

Really fun vibes for beer drinkers! The portions are very generous - we got a flight before dinner thinking we could finish it quickly, but ended up being a chug fest lol. A lot of board games inside to hang out and chill with friends. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

BEST birthday party venue!!

If it's not evident by my last review, Barebottle continues to be my FAVORITE place! This time was especially special because I threw my partner a birthday party here (peep the setup in the photos :)). I cannot recommend this brewery enough. Reservations were simple, they allow outside food, it's kid/pet friendly, and everyone is extremely nice. We had an AMAZINGG time! Most of our guests were pretty new to beer, but they really enjoyed it and talk about it to this day. Also, this location has an area that's "semi-private." You're still in the action, but basically have a section dedicated to your party. This was definitely a highlight when looking for a party venue. Thanks to the wonderful staff: Matt, Jay, Pat, and Vee (hope I spelled everyone's name right) for making the whole experience memorable!!! If you're struggling to find an event space for birthdays or other celebrations, this is an easy choice. Special s/o to Jay for the hospitality today! The attention to detail and care you bring to work is seen and appreciated!!!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. We got a flight for $25 and enjoyed our beers. We hung out for a few hours and played some of the games they have. Lots of seating, indoor and outdoor. Service was prompt and friendly. Great low-key place to hang out.

Service: super friendly and welcoming Interior: plenty of seating, modern decor, 5 pinball machines, couple big screen tv's Outdoor seating as well, was told dog friendly. Had some of the empanadas, and pizzas, good selection of beers that was well laid out and easy to understand on the menu.

This is a great place to have a beer before catching a show at The Guild Theater down the street - which is exactly what we did! The bartenders are friendly, the atmosphere is chill, and the beer is tasty! I had a hazy IPA and my husband had a West Coast IPA. We knew that the focus of Barebottle Brewing is not food but they do offer empanadas and flatbreads. We decided to get a couple mushroom empanadas and a couple spinach empanadas ($6 each). The guy behind the counter knew we were headed to a show so he made sure to get the food out to us quickly -- we appreciate that! They were yummy and were a perfect quick bite!

Just a great spot! The drinks are amazing here. I highly recommend this place if you like to have a nice drink.

Sour and a lager. Enjoyed it under the sun.

Great selection of brews with awesome outdoor seating. Indoor seating solid too with the pinball arcade games.

The drinks/cocktails are great with an extensive selection in addition to their willingness to make things not on the menu as long as they have the ingredients. We only had "bar food" (french fries, onion rings, and my friends had wings) but the menu looked really interesting. Next time I will go back for some pizza or other things on the menu. The most unexpected part of the evening happened when they brought out a "cake" made of brownies and candle in it! My friend sneakily told them it was my birthday. The brownie cake was delicious and enough for many more than the 3 of us. Such a great place and I will be back soon!

It's a bit small but we got some seats at the bar. The wall art was beautiful. They had TVs to watch sports. Then had a good amount of brews to choose from but of course we were there for the hard stuff. We decided to order just a salad. We had a spicy chicken salad and it was really good. Really good portion too. We also had a couple martinis and cognac neat. The bartender/server was very personable and very knowledgeable about liquor. Especially tequila. A nice spot to hang. Would stop by again if in the area.

Right when you walk in, the vibe feels welcoming and easygoing--perfect for groups or even a casual solo stop. The space has a great indoor/outdoor setup, so you can choose between a lively indoor atmosphere or a more relaxed patio feel depending on your mood. There are also a few TVs around, making it a solid spot to catch a game while hanging out. What really stood out was their impressive selection--30+ beers and seltzers on tap, with a little bit of everything for all tastes. Whether you're into hazy IPAs, crisp lagers, or something lighter like a seltzer, there's plenty to explore. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to walk us through options and offer recommendations without any pressure. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. On top of that, they also stock a nice variety of bottles and cans in the fridge, which is great if you want to try something different or grab something to-go. It adds a bit of a curated bottle shop feel to the experience. They also serve some light bites like empanadas and pizza, which paired well with the drinks and made it easy to settle in for a while without needing to leave for food. It's not a full restaurant, but definitely enough to keep everyone satisfied. Overall, this is a great spot to kick back, celebrate with friends, or just explore new craft beers. Easygoing atmosphere, solid drink selection, and friendly service--definitely a place I'd come back to.

Went here for brunch and it did not disappoint…read more Service was great and fast. They sat us upstairs since there was a few boys soccer teams that were there with their coaches and parents. The honey mint mojito came in a cute bear glass and was just the right amount of rum, a little tarty but once watered down was good. Had the biscuit and bacon board (lots of bacon and the biscuits were warm and fluffy). The French toast was just right and the berries were sweet. The crab Benedict was made of real Dungeness crab and the muffin was still crispy. Honestly, the biscuit and bacon board would have been enough. 4 stars because it was $$$ but would def go back again

We went there because they had gluten free options and I have celiacs. When we got there I asked about the gf options labeled on the menu and the server said that those items were not really gluten free... So, I asked what my options were and it ended up being salad or surf and turf. My husband and I decided to share the $60 surf and turf and it was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. The one thing that was the most disappointing was the $12 Italian soda. It was just not good... Maybe some of the other non gluten free items are better, but not suitable for a person that needs gluten free options unless you want to eat a salad.
