When she walked out they had me come in right after her they didn't clean or wipe down the chairs at all. Then I booked an appointment three weeks out for lip filler and the day prior. I get not even a phone call but a text message saying that they're gonna have to reschedule my appointment. I called two times since that text message and they haven't returned any of my calls or answered the phone. The $50 deposit that was supposed to go to the consultation somehow turned into $100 deposit which I'm now gonna have to contact my bank to charge back. I don't believe that their reviews are real it doesn't seem too clean. I wouldn't waste my time better off going to Walnut Creek or somewhere else.

I was scheduled for double eyelid surgery on October 18th and traveled from Sacramento to San Jose for the procedure. Right before my appointment, Dr. Lay called to say he was "sick" and needed to reschedule. I was frustrated, but I tried to be understanding. He then booked me for November 15th at noon. I arrived early at 11:00 AM, only for him to cancel on me at 11:30 AM--thirty minutes before my surgery. He admitted he was still in bed, claiming he was "sick" again. There was no genuine apology, no urgency, no professionalism whatsoever. At that point, it was clear this doctor cannot be trusted with anyone's time, money, or medical care. I demanded a full refund and will never deal with him again. If you value your time and sanity, go elsewhere. The text message from Dr. Lay was sloppy. At this point it looked less like he was "sick" and more like he was hungover and couldn't even send a proper text.

That was frustrating, but she made it right by adding a complimentary PRP add on, which I appreciated. For my third appointment I was asked to do a FaceTime consultation with a medical doctor beforehand. I thought it was a little odd since I hadn't needed to do that for my previous sessions, and it took some extra time before my appointment. After the treatment I was also charged an additional $26 for that consultation, which was a bit frustrating since I wasn't told ahead of time there would be a fee. Communication was also a little inconsistent early on. After my first treatment I had some aftercare questions but didn't hear back because their texting system was still being set up, so I ended up looking up the aftercare myself. The treatments themselves were good and I did see improvement in my skin texture. That said, it does feel like the business is still working out some operational details. The location is in downtown San Jose, where parking can be limited and the area can feel a bit hectic, so it doesn't necessarily have the quiet luxury med spa vibe. There are also multiple providers working in the space which can be a little confusing for first time patients. Overall, Ericka is kind and the treatments helped my skin.
