From the moment I walk in, I feel completely relaxed and taken care of. The facial itself is such a beautiful experience. Jo incorporates so many calming and relaxing techniques, and the full neck and shoulder massage is truly OUT OF THIS WORLD. It is honestly one of the most relaxing facials I have ever had! I originally came to Jo with extremely dry, dehydrated skin, and I always leave with my skin feeling nourished, hydrated, clear, and glowing. She is also amazing at knowing exactly what my skin needs without ever pushing a ton of products. I have purchased several products from her over time, and I genuinely love every single one. I am currently 24 weeks pregnant, and I especially appreciate how knowledgeable Jo is about hormonal skin and how to safely customize my treatments during pregnancy. I always feel confident knowing that I am in such good hands. If you are looking for someone who is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about her clients, look no further. Jo is amazing at what she does, and the Reiki Experience Luxury Facial is an absolute MUST. Do not hesitate--book your facial with her! I went into the appointment with high hopes of being in good hands and feeling comfortable. However, I burst into tears as soon as I got into my car afterward. I left the appointment with lower self-esteem and feeling immensely discouraged. The "Skin Genie's" attitude felt judgmental and aggressive, which made the experience deeply uncomfortable. She behaved as though she had never seen acne before, despite having been in the field longer than I have been alive. She repeatedly hounded me with questions about my skin and responded to each of my answers with "Are you sure?" in a sassy, dismissive manner. She also made me feel foolish and belittled for not having enough probiotics in my diet. This is the first yelp review I have ever written, and I would give zero stars if that were an option.

The microcurrent has done wonders for my elasticity, complexion and improved the overall health of my skin. One of the places I notice the most improvement is what was once saggy & loose skin under my chin. After a few months of microcurrent, it is noticeably much more firm. The microcurrent creates somewhat of a workout for your facial muscle to tone and create some muscle memory from what I understand. It also improves overall circulation. I also do microcurrent stomach treatments which helps keep things firm, fit and complements my work on core strength. Selby creates such and surreal and calm environment. No matter how stressed or busy I am, I also feel much better after a visit at Skin Elixer. My favorite product right now is the Osmosis Rescue Serum. It keeps my skin hydrated and glowing on a daily basis. Thanks Selby for your professionalism and attention to detail in skin care. I appreciate the time she takes to personalize & customize my treatments. Please give Selby a call or book online.

I have never been disappointed by her services, and she is genuinely an amazing individual. Even her products are amazing. I purchased three of them after a facial one day because it left my face feeling fresh and smooth without feeling dried out like so many other products. The eyebrows... I WILL NEVER go to anyone else!! She is hands down the best I have ever been to. I have tried many many people and places in Ventura county, she is second to none!! The shaping is phenomenal, and she even fills them in for me before I walk out. I have beautiful, full, naturally curved eyebrows because of this woman, none of that tadpole looking shenanigans.

Lizette came highly recommended from a friend, and I am so thankful I prioritized my health and well-being by setting an appointment for myself. I scheduled one of her organic facials, and it was a bit of heaven on earth. I couldn't recommend a place more highly to you! Scheduling via text was a breeze. Lizette is quick to respond in detail to answer any questions you have. Getting one of her facials is now a monthly mandatory requirement for my self-care. I tend to get overwhelmed, so we kept it simple on this first visit, and I bought a mask after the treatment was complete. Next visit will be a discussion on her custom makeup offerings. I 1 million percent recommend Lizette, Creme Piel. Thank you!

If you're looking for a great facial with only natural products this is your place! I love all her products, botnia and francsila and she does the research on the quality of the products.

**Updated to add that the business responded to my review, deflecting any wrong doing and said that…read morethey "require shaving the area before treatment". This is yet another area where they failed me- as neither the receptionist that booked my appointment told me this, nor was I told this when I checked in for my services, nor did the woman that did my service tell me the area needs to be shaved before she worked on me. So, this is the first time I'm hearing this, despite THREE employees saying nothing of the sort. And yet, they still feel justified in not refunding me, and not extending any level of proper care or customer service to me. They are TRULY a horrible, unprofessional, low quality med spa. ** Bad experience and terrible customer service after the fact. I made an appointment for Laser Hair Removal, which I've had done on various parts of my body over the years at various med spas. I was going to be in Ventura on a week long road-trip down south, and decided to try this place for my LHR. I had a fancy gala at the end of the week for an LA event with lawyers and judges, so always some primping is done to look my best. A girl's gotta look polished for this type of shin dig... and it's pretty fun getting ready. Except when it's not, and that's what happened at this place. When I made the appt, I asked the woman on the phone about numbing cream for my face, she informed me that I wouldn't need it bc it's a fast moving wand. I had never experienced this type of machine before, but when I asked her if it was the same result where all the hair falls off or can be easily wiped off after treatment, she simply replied, "yes". This was not the case, as I learned AFTER I spent $200 and wasted my time with this place. I left still looking like Chewbacca, and I emailed the office to let them know I was not satisfied. This is when I was told that each treatment would remove about 20% of the visible hair. Had I known this when I called to get info, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED THE APPT. I absolutely would not and could not show up to this gala looking like Chewbacca. When I asked to get my money back, I was told they have a no refunds policy. I asked them if they insist on their no refunds policy despite misrepresentation and flat out lying to me about the treatment results ... and no one responded -nor have I been refunded. Churn and burn is a bad business practice! Just gross and unethical business practices all the way around- from the woman at the front desk that made my appointment, to Angela that did my treatment (by the way, in an email she said she "assured me that I had some hair loss even though there was a lot of hair left"), to Sabina that went totally quiet after I disputed their no refund policy calling out their unethical practice of misinformation and misrepresentation. Also, upon further research I notice that a handful of the reviews are from their own employees (always with the no profile pic and only one review in their profile). Absolutely do not go here, and do not trust these people.
