He was extremely fast with the entire process taking no more than 10 minutes at best, even measuring more than once. You can tell he loves what he does and takes great pride in his work,as he should because he is very good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I've recently developed the "Bowling Fever" and so it was time to get away from the house balls…read morethat the bowling alley has and upgrade to a ball of my own. I chose this location for a couple different reasons: - This place is located within the building of a really nice bowling alley. Really nice interior and good exterior appearance. I know how that sounds and I won't get into the studies of why this matters. But more customers, slightly higher prices because people want to bowl here, made me hope that this would mean a more experienced/knowledgeable bowling shop staff. - This building is located within a really large plaza that also has the gym I go to. ( Check out the LAC review). So this place was convenient to go to right after the gym. I went to this place on a Thursday and having never entered a bowling shop before, I asked for help. The staff explained the difference in the bowling balls and after I had chosen the type of ball I wanted, I was shown similar balls of different manufacturers. This was a good experience. I wasn't pushed to buy the most expensive ball though those balls were shown, but shown to a good ball based on my experience. Buying a ball has free drilling for finger holes but I didn't have time that day to get that done. I paid for the ball and went back the following day for that process. There were already a few customers in there and a few came in after me but the one person working there did an awesome job in handling the crowd. He attended to everyone; answering everyone's questions, taking down names and notes for people dropping off balls for service, etc. The person doing the drilling was very thorough in taking my measurements of bowling fingers and doing a couple different "tests" and measurements to ensure the ball was perfect for my hand. It's pretty neat to see a ball drilled specifically for you. So the experience was great, the shop is really clean, has good lighting, and has nifty looking shirts, shoes, and accessories. I ended up buying a bowling bag...because how else am I going to carry that heavy ball around right? Prices for bags were good and comparable to a couple other places in town- I had called a couple other locations just to make sure. I also looked at a few different websites for the bowling shoes I ended up choosing and this place was actually less expensive by several dollars. I'm happy I chose this location, definitely a 5 star experience for me. Glad I was able to add this business to our wonderful Yelp world.

Well, the food isn't really that good. Had the Wagu burger and well.... I'm pretty sure mine still had life in it. It was still raw inside. The Cole slaw is a hard no. The fries, tasted like frozen fries with season salt. In my opinion, just go here for desert or maybe a cold drink. After all, you're in Kentucky and they don't make the bourbon in house.

So it was very busy. But our food was awful. I had a BLT sandwich. The bread seemed to probably be toasted on a flat top griddle in what tasted like an inch of oil. I could feel it on my lips every time I took a bite. As my boyfriend said, "It's pretty bad when the fries are the best part of the meal." He had the chicken sandwich with fries. His chicken was over cooked and not even 10 minutes later he couldn't leave the bathroom. Not because of food poisoning. We aren't really sure what caused it. Maybe the oil. Idk. The staff being amazing, tentative, sweet, and fast is what saved this from being a 1 star review. We waited a little over 30 minutes for 2 very simple sandwiches because we had to be somewhere. The place is adorably decorated. There was so much to look at. The noise was pretty high level, even before the singers started.

Very disappointing. Bowling alley food is usually good. After them not serving food for so long we were so excited to eat there. We won't do that again. Also no beer. We like to go with friends and have a few beers and bowl. We have gone several times but usually go to Elizabethtown so we can snack and drink while we play. They are losing a lot of money not having food and drinks. We will go to bowl but we would be spending a lot more money there if they were full service

We went for lunch around 12:15 on Tuesday. Everyone was really friendly. The waitress came over and took our order quickly. Some time went by and I could hear the waitress telling the man that cooked our food something was mixed up. They talked a minute and she brought my husband his plate. He ordered the Strike Out Burger (w/cheese) and an order of crinkle fries. She said mine would be just a minute. She came back very quickly with my plate; she walked away to greet a couple that had just walked in. I looked at my plate and then I looked at my husband. He said I think they forgot some of your fries. I literally had less than half of what he had, and it was clearly the bottom of the bag because neither fry was longer than a pen cap. Definitely not a $3 portion. But whatever... he said he'd share his fries with me. We were on our way out of town so we didn't have any extra time. As the waitress walked by, I asked if I could get pickles and mayo (both of which were missing from my hamburger). She brought them back quickly. My husband said that his burger was decent and hot. I could not say the same about mine. There is no possible way that my burger had just been made... NO WAY. It tasted and looked like it had been cooked earlier and then "reheated". I put reheated in quotes because my burger was not the least bit hot. Nothing about it was good. I ate a few bites but it was super tough, cold and had zero salt. I ate my fries and some of my husband's and I was done at that point. I know. I should have said something right then, but we were on our way to pick our daughter up and at that point I just wanted to leave. I saw my friend today (the one who told me about this place) and told him about my experience. He apologized and said he wasn't surprised. He said the last few times he's been recently, the food was not good at all. I'm not sure if there is a different cook, or what, but clearly something has changed. I always go back to a place a second time just to give them a second chance because any place can have a bad day. Maybe I came on a bad day or maybe this is their new normal.
