So many people wandering around trying to be helpful, not enough people doing any actual work.

The staff at this branch are not up to scratch. Members of staff informed me Barclaycard was a "sisterbranch", and I was directed to phone them with my issue. When I called Barclaycard they were infuriated with this false claim. It is not a sister branch and this Barclays should not have turned me away. As a result Barclaycard informed me that they will be leaving a complaint. I have now got to go back to Barclays today which is yet more uneccesary stress for myself. Stress that could have been avoided if the staff at this branch knew what they were talking about to a loyal customer. read more

Oh how I HATE this place. Barclays in general, I have fallen out of love with. The have charged me when there funds in my account and cannot offer any explanation why yet won't refund it. They accidentally removed my overdraft and almost bounced my mortgage. Then they did it to my boyfriend too, totally unrelated. The charges are ridiculous. You cannot get through to anyone in the call centre. The high street branch is always without a doubt, horrendously busy. I only get half an hour lunch and that's never enough for them to deal with a small query due to the queues so I had to resort to writing to them and handing the letters in. Somehow they still claim they never received the letters. Have now switched to the RBoS and Barclays shall never darken my door! The only really bad review I have ever written of anywhere. read more
