So please be forewarned that this place definitely keeps weird hours! But finally, I was walking past it one day and had to do a double take because I found it to be open and I eagerly went in! I love that this place actually does contain a pharmacy in the back of the store! It's located right on the corner of Main and Fourth, so it's truly in such prime location and essentially is the heart of downtown Rochester! Hence why it's additionally so mystifying to me that they're never open on evenings and weekends it seems or during any special events that happen frequently in the downtown area. But nonetheless, Lytle is super cute! It's filled to the brim with all kinds of unique tchotchkes and other unique offerings for all kinds of people in your life -- kids, gardeners, those who love hosting and entertaining, etc. The goodies they have aren't super high end, but what they lack in quality they make up for in uniqueness, as there are a lot of things here that I have never seen carried anywhere else. It's definitely a cute store and on the more affordable end for anyone looking to go somewhere for gifting inspiration. I just hope you can catch them while they are open!

This is one of the worst pharmacies I have ever had to use. I was transferred here by my doctor…read moreafter my local Rite Aid closed. I had nothing but issues until I went to a small local pharmacy. This Walgreens was constantly out of very normal medications that no other pharmacy has ever had an issue getting in stock. They would also never tell me if something was out of stock so I could go days or weeks without being notified. Their text system never worked properly either. It would sometimes alert me that a prescription was filled. However this was normally incorrect. I would finally get notified that a prescription was ready and I would drive over half an hour and they would tell me it would still be another 45 minutes and to pull around and just sit and wait. Leaving this Walgreens was the best decision. I am so much less stressed about my meds now that I go to a local pharmacy. The local pharmacy also answers the phone when you call instead of sitting through 15 minutes of robot phone menus.

This review is just for the LabCorp part of Walgreens. I needed to get a COVID antibody test done…read morefor part of a Crohn's/IBD study I'm in, and it could only be done at a LabCorp center. The two closest ones nearest me were this one, inside a Walgreens, and one in Farmington Hills, so since this one was only about 20-minutes away from me, I opted for it. I made an appointment for the test online, and when you arrive, there are kiosks (on the right-side of the store, once you walk in) where you check in. You will need your driver's license, as the kiosk scans it to gather your information. Someone will call your name, and then take you into the LabCorp area, which was like a mini doctor's office area and something you'd never guess was behind the doors! I didn't get the name of my technician but it only took her one poke to get my blood, which is pretty good in my book; I get bloodwork done frequently and sometimes it takes two or even three pokes. She told me 2-3 days for the results, but UNC has told me 2-4 weeks; when I asked UNC about it, they said normally the lab would give you the results in 2-3 days, but the 2-4 weeks is because they ship it to LabCorp in California and there are a few other steps that need to happen first before I can get the results. I got the test because I want to know if I have COVID-19 antibodies (I have been vaccinated, but am on immunosuppressants), but most people get it to see if they've ever been infected with COVID, I believe.

I drove cross town for a minute clinic appointment for a covid test, it had to be scheduled online…read moreonly. I needed a quick test for an outpatient procedure. I had a 6:20pm appointment tonight. Arrived at 6:10pm. Drove over 35 minutes to get to this location since we could get in for a late appointment. Received and email and text updates to come inside and sign in at the kiosk. My husband spoke to the woman at the minute clinic. She informed us that the covid test is only done at the pharmacy and they were done for the day. I said we scheduled it online at CVS, specifically for Covid, she was nice and apologetic and suggested other urgent cares nearby. All were closed for the evening. I appreciate that the staff helped me but CVS needs to update their online Covid scheduling if they can't fulfill their appointment on their end. How irksome to have to drive cross town and through traffic when the online Covid appointment is a ruse. Poorly done!

Checkout was very matter or fact and not sociable. Another staff member did help me find the barrettes, even want so far as to walk me to the section. Not a very big selection of clipped barrettes, mostly the metal tension ones, oodles of them. They don't stay in my hair though. I got the basic items wanted at least.

What I didn't realize at the time was how poor the quality of the product and/or product setup was. I purchased the best Resound hearing aids that they sold for a cost of $5200. Since this was the first time I've ever bought or worn hearing aids I had no way to know how good they were. One of them recently failed so this time I went to Costco since they have similar hearing aids for $1600. The difference is amazing. I hear so much better. The sound quality difference is as if I wasn't even wearing them before. I don't know if it's that the Kirkland brand is that much better or if their staff is just that much better at setting them up. All I know is that for a third of the cost I have ten times the satisfaction. Music used to sound tinny in the Resound so I used Bose earbuds for music. The Kirkland sound every bit as good as the Bose. That's unbelievable. They use high tech equipment to set them up. And they do a few follow-up visits to make sure that they are dialed in, although I never needed any changes from the first setup. That may be the difference or the Kirkland brand may just be that much better. I don't know which but don't spend $5200 here for Resound when you can go to Costco and get much better hearing aids for a third of the cost.
