When we got there my friends did not have the ID with them which didn't allow us to get in, one of them had the student ID with their date of birth and when she went there to ask the guy that was asking for those he was rude and talking at her. We decided to have food outside since they had half price, when we sat we had to called the waiter because he was just ignoring us, I asked him about the wings, price and kind which he had not idea of what he was selling. So we went inside to ask for the menu since we didn't get any. The bouncer (the guy who denied the entrance and the one who yelled at my friend) he came to me (I had the ID) and start yelling at me telling me I can't be there because we don't have the ID and there is a bar, I told him to be more polite and talk to me better since we are buying food which he just respond screaming that he is the bouncer and we have to leave and doesn't matter that we are buying food. Awful experience, this was our first time going to that restaurant and this was the service that we got. These kids that were working tonight do not have any idea of customer service.

Walking in, you'll see that the restaurant is like one big cozy living room! There aren't any traditional chairs to sit on, but rather comfy sofas, and even a fireplace at the back! The menu features some typical western-style items, but we knew that we wanted to share the cheese fondue so we each got a soup of the day (Cream of Mushroom) and a wine to go along with it! The soup was good, nothing extraordinary, but the fondue was great! The cheese looks like there is a lot less of it than in reality (we couldn't finish it between the two of us!) and it comes with a basket of bread and a side of cooked vegetables. We found that there wasn't enough bread, so we had to order more at a small fee, but there were plenty of vegetables! Finally went inside to confirm and then made a reservation of that night on their outdoor patio area. The vibe is really nice since the patio is it's own separate area with some really nice...tiling? Idk it just feels really premium and good vibes outside. Ordered the Nabulsi Cheese small plate as well as the Pan Seared Flat-Iron Steak as the recommendation from the server. I'm really not that well versed in fine dining or just more pricy places, so this was a relatively new experience on my end. The nabulsi cheese plate was exceptional. The blend of flavours (olives, tomatoes, shallots) were really nice mixed together. The cheese was amazing, chewy and just great texture all on a nice sliced baguette. Kinda like a flavour explosion which was amazing. Definitely try the cheese plate. The flat-iron steak wasn't you typical steak cooked along with a potato side (mashed or fries). The steak was paired with a quinoa mix, "panca pepper demi and aji verde" which were the dark brown/black sauce and the green sauce in the picture. Steak was super tender and with both sauces were phenomenal. On the same vein as the nabulsi cheese plate, these dishes are literally flavours I've never tasted before and they were amazing. I never really tried quinoa either and was skeptical as to how it would pair alongside steak but it was actually quite nice since the texture was so different then the other things we ordered. This place is the definition of a hidden gem for me. Not even a Yelp page (woohoo another business added!) and not signage outside indicating what it is. Hopefully this review gives it it's much needed appreciation! 5 stars easily.
