Ended up getting a basic cut ($35) by Drew, which the basic cut comes with a razor blade finish and a hot towel. Drew was very chill and respected my choice to just vibe. For someone who's been doing this before he was 20, it definitely shows in his work! The entire shop was a vibe and it's the perfect spot for anyone or any background or gender. First time going and I'm pretty sure it won't be my last! The prices are SLIGHTLY higher than most barbershops. About a $10.00 difference from most cuts. But the professionalism and quality of your haircut is definitely worth it. Cool spot that is associated with the Locker Room Vintage shop (besides dominoes pizza), which I had the chance to visit as well. If you're a collector or just like vintage pieces of clothing, this is definitely the place for you. Also, check out their cool Scooby Doo inspired van ‼ The vibes are here for sure! I'll update with some more photos soon*

Completely did his own thing that wasn't what I asked for at all and eventually had to ask for help from one of the other barbers because once again, he had no idea what he was doing. Don't expect someone to sit in a chair for an hour and 45 mins and pay for $40 when you're using them as a training dummy the whole time. If you're coming here for the first time, you better hope you get lucky and get someone who actually knows how to cut hair.

I made an appointment online a couple days ahead and arrived a few minutes early. Christina spent several minutes asking about how I wanted my hair cut, checked how it was cut last time, looked at a couple pictures I brought, shared exactly what she'd do, and she cut it perfectly. She was friendly, happy, personable, and it was clear she really enjoys working here, and told me that as well, nice to hear. As others said, they only take cash, which was fine and I knew it up front, and they have an ATM on site if you need it. My first experience here was great and I'll definitely go back.

This barbershop is located in the heart of downtown Suffolk. Right outside, the area is quite busy…read moreand bustling with both vehicular and pedestrian traffic most hours of the day. Inside, the space is very open and airy with high ceilings and large windows. There's up-tempo hip-hop and rap music playing in the background. The overall atmosphere seemed pretty chill. It kinda reminded me of VIP Barbershop Lounge in downtown Norfolk on Granby Street. I came here recently for a trim and my barber was Donny. I wanted a very classic military-style haircut: high and tight on the sides and back with a high skin fade, nothing off the top, just shape it up, make it look neater and sharpen my edges. The whole time, I was just watching Donny's technique and I could tell he knew what he was doing. So I had no reason to think he would F up my hair...lol Whew, that's a relief. Afterwards, he even tidied up my facial hair too. Total damage came out to about $30 and change. That's not bad and saves me the long trip to Virginia Beach where I usually spend about the same, sometimes a few bucks more, just to get my haircut. I would definitely come here again in the future.

I've been coming to Lucky Devil Barbers for over a year now and my Barber just informed me that…read moreI've had over 40 haircuts with her in this time frame! Lucky Devil is one of the best barbershops in this area in my opinion. This is largely due to the fact to my specific Barber, Ashley (Hi!!). Since I get my haircut so frequently (every 10 to 12 days), I need to have a Barber that was able to do skin fades AND be easy to talk to. Ashley, checks these boxes and more!! Ashley was able to get cut my hair to my standards within the first two haircuts and I don't want anyone else to cut my hair at this point. She's super friendly and knows her stuff with the straight razor. I enjoy coming here because getting my haircut is therapeutic for me. The space is open and clean and I think they have about 8 or so barbers in rotation so you're bound to find someone to your liking. Their parking lot is small though so you may have to find street parking at times. If you're not paying in cash, I think there is a small fee to use your CC. I always leave this place feeling refreshed after my haircut. Prices are fairly standard to other barbershops in the area. If you're looking for a cut, I highly recommend Lucky Devil! SN: book your appointment online or in the store once you've had your first cut.

Given the close personal nature of barber service, this was UNPLEASANT an UNPROFESSIONAL. I wanted to bring this to you attention, as I assume this does mnot reflect the standaards you aim to uphold.
