I'm new here and a good friend told me to see Michelle at Barbers Knock. She gave me the best haircut I've had in years and the service was top‑tier. Absolutely recommend her if you can get in. read more

Great barber shop with great barbers. Military discount as well, which is appreciated. I was very happy with haircut.

While waiting for my turn I could see why some people complain about the wait time. I can tell you, it is WELL WORTH THE WAIT! My Barber, Maya, was so good that my Wife made an appointment with her for tomorrow. They are very precise, which is why it seems like a long wait but... Once you're in the chair you appreciate the time they spend on YOU. Awesome Service. I'd recommend Barber's Knock to anyone in Albuquerque. read more

Very happy with my haircut. I have never been one of those guys that obsessed over his hair, but I may change that tune after getting a great cut here. My wife loved the way it looked and they made it a little less maintenance then I usually had to do. I will definitely be telling people to come get there hair cut here. read more

Barber's Knock - Barbers Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

The setup here is modern and up to date, but with the old fashioned barbershop offerings. I found this place from an article I read about the Top 5 Best Duke City Barbershops. There are 6 stations with 4 barbers. A good sign that they'll expand. Prices are just right for the services offered. I've seen pictures on their Facebook page of hot shaves. I will get one soon. Both my boys got a haircut from Michelle (I think she spells her name differently) the cuts were great and precise. My oldest son got a "blow out cut, with ice picks" I've seen the haircut and it doesn't look easy. Michelle crafted it like a pro. They accept appointments and soon will be using an online system to book. Very handy. The service was great, all barbers greeted when we walked in. We live in Rio Rancho and it's a long drive. But service like this, the drive is worth it. read more

I just had my hair cut at Barber's Knock - hair cut, beard trim and style, straight razor on the back of my neck and some eye brow work. Walked in without an appointment and didn't wait for more than 5 minutes. Sports on TV while waiting. Michele (the owner) is very talented and I can tell she really loves her work. The banter was awesome too! The entire place is well laid out and has a classic feel. The price is well worth it. I will be back for beard trims and haircuts without doubt. Highly recommended!! read more

I made an appointment for a shave and haircut with Dom. I arrived early and signed in, but was never acknowledged by any of the four barbers. There was a loud "rock band" type of music playing. After waiting long past the appointment time I decided I didn't really want to become a customer and left. read more

I tried Barber's Knock out because of the proximity to the office. I received a beard trim and hot shave. The Barber did a great job. He was fast but took no short cut on quality. I didn't have a wait at 11:30 on a Friday but there looked like a short wait at noon. Price was fair. read more

I got a great cut from Joel last time I was in, but when I call to try to make an appointment, I get a person answering phone who's tone let me know she was not interested in helping me, couldn't access the schedule for the different barbers, and was bordering on rude. I have tried to walk in and get a cut, in the past, and it was a long wait, like an hour, but got a pretty good cut. I wish they would get there system together, and act like a real shop, rather than a collection of individuals. read more

Staff are very professional and great at what they do. Been coming here for about 8 months and Michelle and Mariah give amazing haircuts!

I've only been there once so 3 is as high as I go until I have more exposure. The wait wasn't long and Jordynn did a great job considering my description of what I wanted was poor. I will be making an appointment with her for my next cut. read more

Went here for the first time today and WILL be back. I had a 12:00 appointment and was in the chair by 12:05 and out the door at 12:30 just $17.00 bucks later. Joel cut my hair and did a great job. He was very particular and I can tell worked hard to do a great job. Unless I move again I believe I have my barber. If you are on the fence, just go! read more

Good hair cuts (at least for children, I take my 6 yr. old son). Problem: There is no point in making appointments, you will have to wait for all the walk ins they have. I have tried for longer than a year and can't figure out how to not waste my time there. Long waits for walk ins, and if you make an appointment, it will not make too much of a difference. I don't get it. read more

Stopped in for a quick haircut without an appointment the other day and was super stoked with the quality of service and that fade doe... Wait was more than worth it! Keep up the great work you guys, you have a new loyal customer! read more

Just moved to Albuquerque and I was worried I wouldn't find a barber I liked. As soon as I walked in the door I knew I was at the right shop. Welcoming environment and staff with a relatively short wait time for a walk-in appointment. My haircut and beard trim/line-up looks great and my barber talked about stuff I actually like rather than meaningless chit chat. First and only barbershop for me in Albuquerque read more

I'm from out of town, didn't have a reservation. Friendly barbers got me checked in and only had to wait for one regular (who had an appointment!) and was in the chair. Joel was an absolute pro and I got the works. Highly recommend. read more

Yikes, lets start off with the horrible attitude this lady has. I'm reading all these reviews and thinking, they might all be her friend or relatives. First,I called to get some info and never got a call back. Then I scheduled an appointment online, showed up and was told she was completely booked and that I was not on the schedule, after I did receive a confirmation. But what annoyed me was the barbers smug attitude and lack of customer service. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Def not worth the time or aggravation. read more

Rolled in to get a beard trim and shave today. WOW..straight up pro shop! Everyone was super friendly and the shop itself is top notch. Mark did a great job, I'll definitely be back! read more

I went there with my boyfriend the other day so that he could get a haircut, he didn't have an appointment and we put our name on the list and waited an hour and he never even got his hair cut. We had to leave to go pick up his little brother from school. We weren't acknowledged the whole time. There were 3 barbers there and 4 people waiting for cuts but in the middle of us waiting one of the barbers just left? Even though we had been waiting forever? I understand the shift was over but I think they need better time management or at least more barbers there so people don't have to wait that long. My boyfriend told me he had to wait 3 hours just to get his hair cut the last time. I just don't understand why this is still a problem if people clearly complain about it a lot? read more

My normal guy who cuts my hair was unavailable, so I decided to try this place out. I did a walk-in and was able to get my haircut immediately. My haircut was excellent. I would highly recommend! read more

I had a couple decent hair cuts from here. But last encounter, waited an hour without any acknowledgment. People kept walking in and getting seated prior. I'm okay with appointments but tell a walk in that you're booked for over the next hour. Was a waste of time sitting there. read more

Probably the best fade I have gotten! Michelle does a great job and is very good at making you feel comfortable. The shop is clean and has a nice atmosphere. This will be my new favorite barber shop! Couldn't be happier with the cut that I got! read more

Recently went here for the first time. In the top 3 best haircuts I've ever had. I'll definitely be returning. If you're looking for a good fade/taper, this is the place. read more

Best hair cut that I've had since moving to Albuquerque 10 years ago. Perfect cut and beard trim. Love the 8 am open time.

I've had a lot of up-and-down's here enjoy the haircut but they might just be getting too big. Never recommended to "walk in" into a barbershop due to extensive wait times, but I've been pretty lucky in the past however I finally set up an appointment and sat there for a half hour after the scheduled time without being called. Ended up having to walk out, I would have been better off walking in and waiting for that amount of time. read more
