Lousy service by young men who couldn't care less. Wrong quesadilla made despite a clear request. Cheese dip was watery and not even warm!

Not sure why this place doesn't have better reviews. It seems to achieve the impossible trifecta: good, fast and cheap. Ate here twice and the food and service were excellent. New to the area and I am already in love with the food, the service and the atmosphere. I'm talking good so good, I could barely get a picture before it was all gone. I also learned something new tonight, that if you go on Wednesday kids meals are $1 when you buy an adult meal. Talk about savings!! I am so happy my son wanted to come back for the chips and dip. Update: Just went in today and had even worse ingredients. First bite of my taco was bitter. Tried each ingredient separately to see why. It was the onions. They were translucent and a tiny bit slimy. You know how diced onions get after sitting around a few days... This place wasn't great to began with but now, I'm taking a star off and never comming back. read more

Ordered online, pulled up to curbside service, called them to say that I have arrived, they let me set there for 15 min before I got out and went in. My food was setting cold, with 4 employees with their fingers up their butts. Not coming back to the location...turrible read more

I was hosting a corporate event to try to save my business during covid. However, my clients were not impressed with my planning skills when Barbaritos canceled my catering order an hour and a half after it was supposed to arrive. I am heart broken. The manager was more concerned with the money refund than actually trying to rectify the situation. I will never eat their mediocre tacos again. read more

Firstly, to preface, I hate when people only take the time to review when they have a bad experience. Positivity people! Secondly, Barberitos has NEVER let me down! This location is always clean, the staff is friendly, and the quality of the food is amazing. I live in middle TN now and only get to enjoy the spicy chicken a few times a year, when visiting family, and it's always delicious! I literally plan my trips in town around when I can have a burrito on a chipotle tortilla. Also, the queso is the best! I can only pray that one day Barberitos will come to Nashville. read more

As a resident of Kingsport, since I was born, and just having switched to a Vegan lifestyle, I headed into Barberitos expecting they would make me a vegetarian burrito and just leave off the cheese like most places have to do. But never fear! Barberitos has a Vegan Burrito I could get! It was so delicious and exactly what I wanted. Their mango salsa (limited offer) is amazing too if you are like me and don't like spicy salsa. 15/10 would go again. read more

I go there Atleast twice a month. Usually it's pretty good. But this evening I ordered my usual and went to get some of the chipotle sauce. There were no bottles out so I went to the register to ask for some. I even asked for the employee to shake the bottle so that it wouldn't be thin. I got my sauce and noticed it was super thin even compared to the usual separation at the salsa station. I inquired as to Why it was so thin and was told that was the way it was being made now. Which if so it's very disappointing because the sauce is the main reason for my visit to this establishment. I went back to use this watered down shell of its former self only to discover that it was even a different flavor. And ran out of the burrito like a water fall. My frustration only grew from here. I was disappointed and just chose to discontinue using this once delicious sauce. And went on to eat my burrito only to discover that my cilantro was not properly cut, leaving stems. Which aren't a great surprise after Prior disappointment with my lack of condiments. I'll most likely go to Taco Bell. Atleast I'll half expect the disappointment , but only spend half the money for it. read more

I have been in this location at least 3 times and all 3 times the food was OK but there rice was always dry and the place seemed to be operated by high school kids. I personally think the location in Johnson city beats the pants off this one. But if your hard up for barbaritos then I guess this one will do. I also noticed this location wasn't the most cleanly but it could be due to coming in later in the evening. Rumor also has that people have been seen dipping there chips into the salsa bar and yes I mean the salsa bar not getting a portion but the entire tub of salsa (gross to think about) read more

Great food and quick service. We are traveling through looking at property and this was a nice break.

At a previous visit my to-go order was messed up. After calling the store, I was given a complimentary entree. Today, a co-worker and I decided to give Barberitos another try. After bringing our to-go orders back to our office we realized the salad dressings for our salads were left out of the bags! Ordering any sort of sauces on the side seems to be a difficult task for this store to accomplish. This is now two times in a row that something very important has been left out of an entree and it's absence has made the entree considerably less enjoyable. I can truly say I will not be returning to this location after the consistent terrible service I have received. read more

The worst franchise I have been to in this chain. Today makes the third day this year that I have appeared before 12:30 pm for lunch, stood in line, and when I order I'm told that the pork is still cooking. How badly does a restaurant have to be mismanaged to repeatedly run out of 20% of its protein offerings? The corporation should take this franchise back and give it to someone who knows what they're doing. I'm done with Barbs. read more

Food is awesome and the staff is always friendly. I eat here before work a lot and it is always great. I always get a steak burrito on the spinach tortilla and it never disappoints. read more
