I love that they have water fitness classes since I have joint issues that make land based workouts…read morepainful. My instructor Joni is AMAZING!!! With her help and encouragement I've lost 160 pounds since I started going here. They have lots of different classes, both day and night, and childcare is available.

My girlfriend almost got beat up by a man at this gym over a machine that he thought he owned he…read moresaid some really disgusting things about her and basically told her he'd hit her if she didn't get off of his machine. He stole her drink and called her terrible names and threw her drink away. She told management and nothing was done because they have a private relationship with him and she's new so clearly they would take his side they seem like they really like woman beaters at this gym. My girlfriend made sure to not be rude back because had she been rude back she would not be alive. He looked like he was roid raging and was mad that she was lifting more than him on "his" machine. This place is disgusting and shameful they need to be sued. We cancelled our membership their pool and jacuzzi was pretty filthy anyway and they are too cheap for air conditioning that's why your always hearing about people fainting or having heart attacks at this gym they have absolutely no air flow plus it looks like a prison somewhere in a 3rd world country that praises woman beaters not to mention, they don't even have enough parking outside like where are we in San Francisco? Their cameras don't work if anything happens to you or your things your toast

Wow what an experience it has been working with Kevin and sculpt fitness. I truly liked Kevin as a…read moreperson when we started training! He was charismatic and encouraging! So I bought the largest personal training package available. Right of the bat I stated receiving texts about him not being able to show up to a session for one reason or another(5-10 sessions in). We talked about it and he apologized and said it won't happen anymore. It continued and he became short and rude with his response to me about being unhappy with his lack of ability to keep a session time. Fast forward to 26 (out of the 50 I purchased) sessions spread out over 5 months when it was supposed to be 2 months because of the amount of cancelations. I can understand once or twice, stuff happens (to me too), but it was 16 times. Then he ghosted me for a few days when we were supposed to have a session. At that point I was irritated and wanted to talk to him about what we can do to better the situation, he responded with "am I going to get a lecture?". So I asked for a refund and he then ghosted me for another week then claimed to be sick at home (so sick to be able to make a phone call or send a text). So the next time I talked to him on nov 30th he says he will take care of it. It is now December 19th and I have tried to get ahold of him numerous times to no avail. So I have taken steps to pursue him in small claims court.

I love this gym. It's small but perfect. I think the best part is that it don't fill up like the…read moreother gyms and it's 24hrs. I also love being able to workout in the cool lights after dark.

I was excited when I heard this chain was opening up in Modesto and immediately signed up for the…read moreunlimited class 3-month membership at the discounted price. There were so many different classes to choose from and I was excited to try out classes other than just Pilates. However, after signing up, I saw those other different classes were only offered during a normal persons working hours and the only classes at 4pm and after were just regular Pilates. So in the three months I took classes, the only ones I could go to were the Pilates, Pilates 1.5 and cardio sculpt. Also, their free intro classes were set at prime times that should have been for members. Some instructors were good and seemed to know what they were doing, but others (or just one in particular) seemed like she didn't know what she was doing and it was confusing trying to follow her instructions. Also sometimes the music was too loud, which made it difficult to hear the instructor. I think of Pilates being more mindful and if they are going to play music, it should be serene. Save the current playlists and hip hop for the faster paced cardio classes. And some classes it felt like the last 15-minutes was just for stretching. Which is a long time for a class that is basically that anyways. I have Pilates and barre videos at home that give me a better workout than from here and canceled after my promo was up. I'm a Pilates girlie and have been doing Pilates since 2010. But it's expensive and the ownership of the studio I used to go to changed and it just wasn't the same after that so I canceled and just worked out at home until Club Pilates came to town. I love Pilates, but I think you get what you pay for and the non-chain, individually owned studios are a better pick. They are definitely more expensive, but you get an actual workout. All in all, if you are a beginner and looking for an easy workout at a more affordable price, then check Club Pilates out. If you are more advanced, I would research smaller, individually owned studios (there's a new one in Oakdale that just opened and the owner is amazing - I just do not want to drive to Oakdale or I would go there). The staff is all very nice and it's easy to book classes using their app. Depending on your membership, you can book classes weeks out and even if your are wait listed, there's a good chance you will get in because of people canceling.

If I could give zero stars then I would. Not one of their classes worked for my schedule and my…read moreschedule doesn't allow for "at least 12 hrs in advance" for cancellation. I called and then was forwarded to the email. When I wrote an email thoroughly describing this, it basically responded recommending to do the exact things that I already stated I could not do because my schedule is not compatible. I'm pretty sure it was AI or just an extremely disconnected person with bad customer service. Do yourself a favor and buy resistance bands and just watch a YouTube video. After being able to go to absolutely no classes, they charged me for the second month at $180.
