All in all this was a pleasurable adventure and I would recommend people to come and check out this gym. The workouts are great from week to week you feel yourself gaining strength and confidence. I'm a Christian and I prayed for a gym that was going to be reasonably priced and get the job done on getting me back in shape. Not knowing Blake was a believer and during my first workout, I almost threw up (), I look up and see scripture on the wall (Philippians 4:13), talk about feeling heard and seen. I've been there now for 2.5 years...not only did I lose all the weight I gained, but my walk with The Lord has even gotten stronger bc of how God uses Blake to minister to me. Not to mention, Blake playing some worship music during our 5am workouts, fire! And the people at 5am are legit family now! I HIGHLY recommend Fitness Fanatics

My husband and I decided to joined The Camp because we knew that if we joined a regular gym, we'd…read morefind any excuse/reason why we did not need/want to go. Since the workouts at The Camp are with a group of people, it makes us feel accountable and motivated to go each day. Being a part of The Camp, you are led each day by trainers/coaches that teach you the proper movements, breaks down the areas that are being targeted and encourages you, regardless of your ability. Each day you work a different part of your body, including legs, arms, cardo and full body. Walking into the space each day can be intimidating when you see all of the equipment spread across the floors, but you are shown how to do each exercise before jumping into the workout. Problem is that as you get stronger, the coaches get sneaky and drop heavier weights in front of you. :o) Not only the workouts, but they offer challenges. My husband and I are on our second challenge to loose the weight that we have gained over the years. They give you a diet plan, offer supplements and of course the workouts. You are weighed every Monday and have to "Check In" through social media to help keep you accountable. As long as you follow the program it truly does work. My yo-yo dieting has stopped and I make better choices now. Both of us feel great and I still can't get over the transformation that my body has made in just the 5 months that we have been members. I was always active in sports and liked to do physical things, but I have never had muscles like I do now. Our first day there, we were welcomed by so many nice people and we have a great group that we now workout with every morning, 6 days a week. They help to make the workout fun and we all encourage each other. I really do not feel like I would have met this many people at a gym or have so many people encouraging me. We have made some great friendships through this place. I no longer look at this as getting up early and exercising, I see this now as a lifestyle and I love our new lifestyle thanks to all of the Staff at The Camp Transformation Center in Modesto.

Let me start off by saying my trial class went great. The members (NOT STAFF) were very nice,…read morehowever, it all went down hill when my rate couldn't be honored. I traveled 400 miles to Tracy from Corona & I was desperate looking for a new gym that can accommodate me. & I was so excited coming here even though it was a 35 min drive. The staff wasn't even paying attn to what I said over the phone when I called and she had me repeat myself. Even after explaining that I used to work for the camp. I wasn't paying for it but my previous rate was $107 she immediately said yeah we can only honor it if you're a teacher, veteran, etc. I said no I used to have that rate without it. I've been a part of the camp for a while & even then she didn't care. She even started to argue with me that it was a hard no, they called the camp that I was at to go over my agreement I emailed them and she said I was paying $107 because I worked there I said. You have it all wrong because I wasn't paying anything when I worked there. At this point I said to myself I definitely don't want to come back to this place. Fast fwd I found another The camp on the opposite side of town that honored my rate and even welcomed me to town. The customer service here overall was crap.

My sister and I joined recently and so far we love it!…read more It's a very clean facility, everything is always clean and the other members have great etiquette. We don't often come during staffed hours but the staff that we have spoken to are friendly. The girl who did our introduction was very knowledgeable and let us know about all of the promotions up front. She set up our sauna and provided everything we needed for the trial session. I love that there is 24/7 access and I also like that the saunas only hold 2-3 people. It allows my sister and I to have privacy and get some sister time. I'm also not hugely social so I do appreciate not sweating it out in a room full of people. The workouts are easy to follow and the saunas are very clean! A few things to note. They do require that you only use the mats and towels sold by Hotworx, they are made specifically for heated application. Although, I was with a private Hot Yoga facility previously and already owned a mat made specifically for these types of workouts, you cannot use other brands. You can rent their mats/towels for $5 or you can purchase the combo for $117. Many people sell them online for less. The only thing that was a bit of a turn off was the membership cancellation policy. When you first sign up you do have 3 business days to cancel and it states that the studio may charge you a fee to cancel based on how much you used the facility within that time frame. If you do not cancel within the first 3 business days, you are in contract for 90 days and then the membership switches to month-to-month. However, if you want to cancel after the 90 days, you have to give a 60 day notice. So, you're locked in for at least 5 months. If for some reason you need an immediate cancellation the cancellation fee is $99. I researched this before even going to my trial class so i was aware and willing but I don't like that they make it so hard to cancel. You'll also be required to do it in person or by written statement through certified mail and only at the location in which you signed up. You do have the option to freeze your membership for up to 3 months if needed but will still be charged $9 a month and cannot use the facility. I also found it hard to find any of this information on the website.
