Well, not surprisingly I decided to pop in for a drink, and I was certainly rewarded with some great beers, and a rather nice atmosphere as well. Then again there is really little that you can do wrong with these small craft beer breweries, which honestly seem to be getting smaller and smaller as time goes on. This place is no exception.

The tunes, the people, the bar staff - everything was pointing towards this being my new happy place. I ordered a Batlow Saison Cider (I know. Amazing. Saison CIDER) and chatted with the bar staff. I was intreguied by their boilermaker menu and after a while, we were walking away like I was a regular part of the furniture. There's just something about Catchment. It's designed really well, the venue feels inviting and the staff are there to have a good time and make you great drinks. Catchment gave me an opportunity to smash beers, play darts and have good chats; what more could you want?

I recently moved from Indooroopilly but in the 6 months or so from the opening of NKB Express to when I moved, this was a regular choice for my friends and I. The interior is very authentic of the classic American diner from the counter, to the booth seating and the presentation of the meals. It is very accessible as it is just across the road from the Indooroopilly train station. Parking in the centre can be a bit of a challenge however. The meals are amazing! If you are in the mood for a serious burger, I highly recommend this place. They are filling and tasty. My favourite was the mushroom wagyu beef burger which as I recall was called the 'Central Park' or something similar. The chocolate shake was also a solid staple of mine. Prices are standard and they also do takeaway. It is definitely worth dining in for the full experience. It can get quite busy so avoid peak meal times or be prepared to wait for a table. If you are a fan of modern gourmet food and the inner-City lifestyle and you have not been to NKB Express, this should be your next stop! I'll be back.

The name is an interesting choice, since most Australians wouldn't know what a borough is. Moving on to the food, I have eaten here twice so far, and enjoyed both the 5B Chicken burger and the 5B Hot burger, which contains grass-fed Mandalong beef. The food is in a similar price range to Grill'd, though I would say that the burgers are a bit smaller. Both indoor and undercover outdoor seating is available, and as the premises are licensed, this would be a good place to go with mates on a weeknight or on the weekend. Plenty of parking is available at the Stones Corner Village parking lot.

Going by the decor, chirpy staff and funky location it was everything I could have wanted.. apart from the food situation. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice marinated mushroom. Very moist.. and mushroomy.. and herby. I also had rocket and pumpkin on my lettuce cup. So all in all, it was very green and crunchy and healthy. In a sad way. Prices were on the steep side especially as it looked like everything was standard McDonalds burger size (thankfully the patties were medium rare, however). The shakes were huge and by all reports AMAZING but super filling. I can't say I will go here again. It's just too much watching people eat delicious, fatty, flavoursome burgers. At least at 5 Boroughs at Stones Corner I can order a burger without the bun AND eat their cheesy bacon fries!!!
