Porsche Experience Center- Atlanta - Porsche models throughout the ages

    Porsche Experience Center- Atlanta

The Porsche Experience Center Atlanta was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived,…read morethe experience felt intentional, elevated, and unforgettable. Huge shoutout to Charles Gear, our driving coach, who truly made the day exceptional. Driving the Porsche 911 Carrera S on the South track was exhilarating, but what set this apart was Charles' knowledge, calm confidence, and ability to make you feel both comfortable and excited at the same time. He didn't just coach the drive, he coached the entire experience. What I loved most was how Charles walked us through the full history of Porsche and then guided us through the museum with so much detail and passion. Every story, every design choice, every evolution of the brand was explained in a way that made you appreciate Porsche on a deeper level. You could feel how much pride and love he has for the brand, and it was contagious. This was more than a driving experience. It was education, history, adrenaline, and luxury all wrapped into one. If you're considering visiting Porsche Experience Center Atlanta, do it and ask for Charles if you can. Truly top tier from start to finish.

There was a minimum we had to hit given our other activities for the day and because everything was on the expensive side, it was relatively easy to achieve. The drinks were good and the attention to detail was pretty strong too. Even the butter for the bread was shaped like Porsche cars! Dining room felt like a power lunch spot. Lots of people there driving the cars and doing corporate events. One major star off because they gave us the receipt as a total and not itemized. This was sketchy because there was a tip and service charge line. Had I not asked for an itemized, we would have double tipped.

The Main Course is on Main Street and has a parking lot and a very large interior space. On Sunday they had a Dj and are serving a southern brunch for $25.99. There is something on the menu for everyone. There is a salad bar, pastries, chicken, waffles, pancakes, fried green tomatoes, fish, grits, etc. ; it is a true southern breakfast! I enjoyed everything I had, and appreciated the bloody Mary bar, I enjoyed one cocktail for $7. I was dining solo and sat at the bar and had the opportunity to chat with the owner, such a sweet lady that has a special way of making you feel like family. There was no wait when I walked in but it was fairly busy, people outside and in the back room enjoying their meal, the traffic remained steady while I was there.   I would like to return during the weekday so I can enjoy the main menu and also return for brunch to try the salmon croquettes. Two items that did not make this a 5 star experience for me, some of the food in the warming dishes was cold and it was difficult for me to use the plastic ware to cut my waffles and pancakes. Not a deal breaker but something to note.   If you enjoy soul food, great service and want to support a woman and minority owned business  check out the Main Course today.
