This school doesn't look like much on the outside, but it looks nice on the inside…read more The focus of this school as of last school year is the 7 habits of daily learning. This school has a huge Hispanic population. Most of the students speak both English and Spanish. As of last school year, most of the staff members were very friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, some of the staff were the exact opposite, and that contributed to the overall moral of the school.

While this course was reasonably priced, it did not meet my expectations. For a few reasons: (1)…read morethe course was fast paced; (2) the instructor (Professor Gary Cohen) was full of jokes and background information on the nature of the questions that he failed to really get to the depth of some of the problems; (3) the instructor did not offer offer much support before, during, or after the class; and (4) the companion book was ill-prepared with several errors. Had I not taken the LSAT before I would have been totally lost. I pity the students who were experiencing the material for the fist time. Several times throughout the classes the instructor did not seem sure of his answers and in many instances students pointed this out. I feel that students were either too intimidated or ashamed to speak up. This class might be good for a brush up, but I would not recommend it as a prep class for students who are taking the LSAT for the first time. The on-line description for this course was full of hype. Not true at all!

My experience with the Georgia Institute of EMS began with high hopes but ended in a legal dispute…read more I am sharing the facts of my journey so prospective students can have a more complete picture. I enrolled in the AEMT program in February 2024. A few months into the program, in August 2024, I was informed that I was "behind" and was presented with two options: transfer into a more expensive "Flex" program for an additional cost of over $2,000, or I would fail the program. From my perspective, I had no choice but to agree to the additional expense to continue my education. After transferring, the primary issue became the scheduling of my required clinical rotations. Despite my requests, the school did not secure the necessary placements for me in a timely manner. By January 2025, with my course end-date approaching, I was informed that to get the additional time I now needed to complete my clinicals--time I needed because of what I contend were the school's scheduling delays--I would have to pay a new, additional fee of $700 per month. I felt this was unreasonable, as the need for an extension appeared to be a direct result of the school's inability to schedule me. When I was unable to resolve this matter with the administration, I filed a breach-of-contract claim in magistrate court to recover my tuition. In response to my lawsuit for a refund, the Georgia Institute of EMS filed a counterclaim against me for defamation, based on an online review I had posted. After the case was recently moved to Superior Court at the school's request, they increased the amount they are seeking in their defamation counterclaim to $25,000. My educational journey here did not meet my expectations. I would advise potential students to carefully consider all aspects of the program and its policies before enrolling.

After my son complaining he doesn't want to go to school anymore I inquired and was met with "your son gets more than $99 of education and I will not be hiring teachers until the class is full. " Unfortunately , I didn't make the price for the school Glory Bud did so to advise me my child is getting more of an education than paid for is unprofessional at the least. Which to me was also a cover up for the lack of teachers and students present at the school. I thought it was a off day the day of enrollment as there was only 2 kids but as my son continues to go he was not pleased and stated he had the Director who is also the babysitter of the other two kids at the center. I was completely misinformed of the type of education and environment my child would be in. Also the schools hrs of operation are stated 6:30am -6pm yet when my sons comes at 6:30am I'm advised he is early and doesn't get a snake because The director Venus is not reimbursed. I could not deal with the misinformation any longer. So not happy my baby begged to go to school only to be disappointed by someone eager for a booming new school!

The scathing review was from a parent that wanted to bring her child in but I witnessed was late picking him up. But, to the educational value the school brought, they taught sign language to the infants and toddlers, they had STEAM, and STEM, foreign languages, early reading programs, outdoor play, full course meals and snacks and so much more. Sometimes people just feel the need to tear down what they can't control or abuse. It was a great school.
