Handy man services are offered by Kuhn and that was the reason for my call. Jimmy was sent out to…read moreaccess the situation/job at hand. He is a fast talking, smoking, fast driving fiend. He will give you a quote that is off the charts. You must be specific, get your own supplies, hold fast to getting an $85 an hour charge. I understand it is a two hr. minimum. He let it slip that it was $85 and hour but also said up to $1,000 a day. I got them to stick to the $85. I needed some electrical work done. Some handy men can do it and other not so they need to know which man to send. Don't get the piddly stuff done. Go for the bigger jobs. Chris, I was told would show, but Hydam showed instead. He is a soft spoken, gentle man who knows what he is doing. He fixed a faucet rather than install the new one I had purchased...saved me $100. He did the electrical, installed two very difficult closet doors...house settled. He hung curtain rods, did a door sill, stabilized a rocking commode, and more. Stick around because he will ask questions, and it is best to work as a team. He is very specific...he will tell you if another way would work as well and save time. He was on it. I felt blessed to have Hydam work for me as he was polite and diligently wished to do a good job. I was very pleased with his work. Do provide lunch if a handy man stays the day. Hydam never took a break. I think they could forgo Jimmy the access-or. He is shifty, overbearing, opinionated, and tries to pull down big bucks for the company. Hydem saved me money in the long run, and he is a great person to have in your home to work for and with you. Tell 'em it is $85 an hour or hit the road Jimmy.

Forget the designer, she just shows you a few samples and did not know a lot, told me to go look elsewhere if I wanted something else she did not have a sample of, no help at all. I would not recommend them.

The designer did a beautiful job (but she is no longer there). We had a large renovation done that…read moreincluded the kitchen, dining room and LVP flooring. While we had no issues during the process, shortly after the floor was sinking in multiple places. The contractor returned and placed a saddle in one area. Saddles were included in my contract (two separate contracts one for materials and one for labor), so we had paid for both even though they initially didn't use saddles. There was no refund given for the unused materials and work that was never done. They returned again to "lift" the kitchen subfloor. At this point they had to remove the new LVP, so they used our warranty to replace the flooring. The floor continues to sink in multiple areas. They suggested placing multiple saddles throughout my floor. They claimed the floor manufacturer said I needed them, so I don't know why I wasn't told or why it wasn't done during the initial installation. I asked when they open the floor and see the subfloor is unlevel would they do the honorable thing and return my money to me so I can have my floor repaired. I was told the subfloor is level and we are no longer discussing it. They hold no accountability. On top of all of this, they have photos of my home including personal information of where we live, personal details of our family and refuse to take it down. What customer ever wants this!? They have now blocked me on social media, and fail to communicate responsibly. All I would like is the money returned to me for the flooring that is now garbage because they have to take it apart to level underneath, the money paid to do the work that wasn't done correctly, reimbursement for what was paid out but never used. This is a major inconvenience to have to go through construction again. This has been dragged out too long, own up to your mistakes and Do the right thing. be warned and stay far away from this company.

I couldn't have had a better experience. My designer gave me many options that fit my budget. From start to finish I had a great experience. I would highly recommend this company.

My wife and I were delighted by the beautiful work done by ATOZ Renovations. We're not in the habit…read moreof writing rave reviews. (We're New Yorkers after all.) But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. The final result is exceptional, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend ATOZ to anyone.
