Having been in business here in Islip for decades, the company is a fixture in the community, with a well-deserved favorable reputation. Kuhn has remodeled our bathroom and kitchen, installed a new roof and windows, and successfully completed many handyman projects. No matter the size of the job we were always made to feel that our project was the most important. They are trustworthy and we never had any qualms about leaving the workers in the house when we were not at home. They also leave the premises as neat as when they arrive. Kuhn stands behind their work, and if there is ever anything that needs to be rectified, they are quick to do so without question.
I was surprised to read some of the commentary in the above post as our experience is quite the opposite. To me, Jimmy is Kuhn's greatest asset. As Project Estimator he comes to each job with many years of experience and a seemingly endless fount of knowledge. He also has the rare ability to think outside the box and sees countless possibilities. He is never pushy, but rather suggests what might or might not work within the customer's budget. He's reliable and communicative, always arriving on time for appointments or calling if he's running a little late. Jimmy treats each project as if it were his own, and it is not uncommon for him to come back during the various stages to check on the progress. He is talented, knowledgeable, caring and friendly, and Kuhn Construction is lucky to have him as part of their team!
