Because of the hour, our choices were limited to the already limited bar menu, but we enjoyed everything. First came the bread from Julius Brantner and a most deliciously rich and creamy whipped butter. Next, charcuterie & cheese, which were standard selections of excellent quality. Next, a cold dish of chopped meadow mushrooms, watercress, and Belper Knolle cheese (hard, raw cow's milk cheese). Bursting flavor. The final plate, risotto with spelt, black truffle slices, almond, 'root bacon' (cured/smoked ham/bacon), and fresh green herbs and sprouts. The wine was excellent and the service superb. Solid 4 stars. read more
