The purpose of this review is by all means to rave about Clandestino. Very chill vibe, the space is small, tiny bar counter and some sofas, where if you are lucky you can sit with a big group of friends and enjoy some drinks. Since Clandestino seems to serve as an overflow bar for Boho sometimes there are to many people just coming in and standing in the tiny opened space next to the bar. Be determined and jump on the first available seat if you'd like to hang in there longer. Clandestino has a ginourmous list of mescals and tequilas. We did rely on the recommendation of the bar tender for the first round and fortunately we kept the receipt so we know what were the amazing smoky mescals we ended up trying. The cocktail list is so attractive that no doubt we had to try the mixes, tequila end mescal can be substituted upon request, but in general I like to stick to the original liquor choice of the mixologist. Don Solares and El Matador were perfect choices, where the El Matador certainly wins the competition. All the drinks are served in a fancy way, the tequilas and mescals are accompanied by fruits that will enhance the flavors. I loved the choice of music and the lights, very cozy space that could be also perfect for a more intimate encounter.

That's how great it is. It boasts a great menu of pub snacks and burgers: I especially recommend the wine-infused duck pilons and vegetarian burgers. The wine and beer selection is equally thorough, but they also have cocktails, whisk(e)ys, and hot spirits to end your evening on a sweet note. It's also one of the few places I know of where they're okay with you having dessert with your poison of choice. The interior, while small, is very welcoming, and the full-length bar combined with friendly staff and its location in the neighborhood means you'll always meet someone interesting to swap stories with. High marks all around!
