This is a classic Polish Bar Mleczny / Milk Bar. This is the traditional, common person's cafeteria-style restaurant. It was just after 2 PM and people were lining up for dinner. This is the main meal of the day, and all the menu items were still available. Prices are taken off the menu board as items start selling out. I saw plenty of takeouts with customers bringing their own containers.
I couldn't easily decide what to choose, because I practically wanted everything.
Bar Krakowski offers simple, home-cooked food. Always fresh and filling, it's far from fancy. With a homely atmosphere, tasty comfort food is more or less what you can expect. Don't be surprised if someone asks to sit at your table. The restaurant is often full at this time of day. So you find a seat, enjoy your food, and leave.
Compared to the past, all the ladies serving food were very nice and helpful, so the quality of service has changed drastically.
